This is the old color gun, the new one is white, but for anyone interested here are the internals. I did a search and did not see any pictures so here ya go.

I'm currently in the middle of trying to mod the newer [white] version of this, and I have a question for you. Was the front of the gun glued together, and if so, how did you get the front in general open. I don't want to use brute force as the gun isn't mine, and I don't want to break it, so if you used any trick I'd greatly appreciate it.

I actually got the glue loose on one side of the gun as the front piece is still attached to the other half. I grabbed a half of the gun in each hand and pulled apart till one side let go(very carefully). The spring is small in this gun and my Home Depot spring won't fit(too fat) so I used a disk shot spring because its a little longer. So far the gun still sucks. The other Star Wars gun is alot better since it's pretty much a long NF.

To get the gun open, stick a sharp hunting/camping knife in the seems and wedge down at an angle. This is what
I did to my magstrike cap, and it worked out great.

Nice! the internals looks to have some decent modding potential. I was expecting very NFish internals. Now I just need to track down an older one on clearance.

Ok, I can't keep my mouth shut any longer....

looking at the linear design and shape of this blaster is tehre any reason anyone can find why I could not replace the plunger tube, plunger and spring with one much longer..... like crossbow size???

With a plunger tube replacement from several nf tubes/ petg/ PVC this could be a crazy gun

yea, but I do not like the firing mechanism of that gun.

Yes, you could add a larger plunger. The two guns are very similar, and if you added a longer plunger tube, you'd just cut a groove farther up on the plunger rod (or make a completely new one). It would take some work, but would be do-able.

P.S. Where is "bum-funk" Ohio? It seems like more and more people are popping up in this state than I've ever seen before...
