Ok, heres the deal. I have both of the above guns.I cannot decided which one to use. I need to know which is less prone to breakage, and has served more reliably.I am asking the older members on their opinion.

Why don't you modify both of the guns. Then whichever one you are more accurate with, or has better range is the one you should use.

I guess you have some heavy duty industrial strength toilet paper holders. Do they advise you to wear eye protection when changing rolls?

My TTG mod.

A well modded Nf will be one of the most reliable pistols you can find in my opinion. Also I've heard of the ttg being kind of flimsy but I have never owned one so I'm not sure...

The old-style Tech Target gun is one of the most powerful springer pistols, for the amount of work you put into it (when you do a 1/2" CPVC barrel mod, basically shoved down the existing mega dart barrel), it shoots average 60-70 feet and stings like a mother at 10-20 feet pistol ranges.

But it never "felt" good for me, kind of an awkward shape (compared to the NF), and it didn't fit nicely in a cargo pocket without sticking out and needing to be held or repositioned in the pocket every few moments. But that's just me.

The NiteFinder (all but one of my NFs are first-gen) are smaller, fit nicely in a cargo pocket, feels "nice" (again, matter of opinion), and best of all, was RELIABLE when slightly modded (stock spring, no stretching, no banding, just a crayola marker barrel replacement) with honest 45-50 foot ranges. I never liked sidearms that are heavily modified because most often "heavily modified" generally equates to "heavily prone to break on you".

But whatever floats yer boat. I'd say go with the one you prefer to use, which one "feels" and looks good to you, and which one you want to be stuck in a bunker with. They're both good.

The NF is easier to mod and gets killer ranges and accuracy.
The TTG is more ergonomic.
You pick.
