Hi Im new to the site. i wanted to know witch gun you can mod without opening up.please reply. I wanna mod my guns to shoot father! So I just want you to tell me! Thanks!

A Big Bad Bow. saw off the barrel, drill or dremel out the air restrictor, and slap on a crayola or cpvc barrel. You're done, and you have great ranges without even opening the gun up.

I would say the 3b or big bad bow. You just need a marker. Just do this mod. Or, you could have looked at the modification directory.

I'm getting really sick of new members getting on here and just making a pointless topic that could have been avoided, all because they were to lazy to search and just decide to ask everyone else. I know I'm not going to stop anyone but, please try to control your laziness or your plain old stupidity.
Rant aside, The Big Bad Bow- Saw off the barrel. Titan- saw off the end of the barrel and the inside of the nub it attaches to. Those are some of the easiest.

A 3B and a Big Bad Bow are the same thing. I think you meant a 4B?

First off I would fix your grammar and punctuation. Trust me, I do the same thing (well I'm trying not to anymore anyways) and people get really mad about it. Secondly, take a nightfinder (Or a gun with a pull back plunger) and tie rubber bands from the plunger to the front of the gun. That is the easiest mod that I can think of.

The maverick or nite finder take your drill and a 1/2" drill bit drill out the AR through the barrel.

the hornet take a flat head and pry the barrels off then wrap the cpvc barrels in etape and jam them down where the old barrels were

Look, if your serious about modding then your going to have to take a step up and learn to not be afraid to open the guns up. This is how you really mod most of the guns (with the few exceptions such as the BBB).

Heres a thought, why don't you just open the gun up?

Just go get a NF, the chances that you can break it by opening it up are very slim.

In theory you could just drill down the end of the barrel to get the AR out on most guns if you really want to but you have a better chance of messing up if you do that, you could punch a hole in the side of the barrel.

That's probably the best advice for you, or for anyone getting started at NerfHaven's forums.

But it's a legit question, he's seeing what was "easy" for the rank-and-file member of NH who is still active on forums.


As for me, I'd say the BuzzBee Big Blast, or Blast Bazooka. Trim the end of the "barrel" that the bomb rides on, and stuff a dart down there.

It's ghetto, but it's quick, and it works well. When you grow up you can actually do a coupler mod like my man Captain Slug does to his Big Blasts.

I'm pretty sure the question was which gun is easiest to modify with out taking it apart. So in all honesty, you never asked which is the best gun to use that you could mod like this. Therefore, The gun you are looking for is the Magstrike. The magstrike is modded by punching out the air restrictors and making stefans for it. The ranges
are something like 50 feet and the accuracy is something like spray and pray. The rate of fire is both fast while fully primed, and average when using the trigger pumping system. It's a large enough gun that a 13 year old can use it's air tank as a stock, and it offers some protection by shielding you from some attacks. So while its definitely not the best, it is the easiest to start with.

I have a question for you. Why don't you want to open up your guns? The mods you can do without opening up the guns are limited. If you don't have a screwdriver of something like that, go to a hard ware store. To answer your question Big Bad Bow is a gun you can mod without opening.

the dtb its just a pain in the ass with the screws just do a simple ar removal will add range not sure though since my mom threw the screws away
