Even if it does not, the weather will still be tolerable.
I recommend everyone:
Dress warm.
Bring two pairs of shoes and socks just in case.
Bring lots of water and fluids.
Also remember to check that you have everything you need before you leave.
Thank you Falcon. There was a positive message behind your less than friendly post.
I hope to see you at Apoc next year.

A little off topic, but just so I don't get a bad reputation for not showing up to wars, I admit it, back when I was going to “wcno” I DID have my grandfathers birthday party I had to attend to, but I was just using that as an excuse. Attempting to sound as manly as I possibility can, I was a little intimidated and I bailed out. If I really wanted to I could've made it. No more crap from me.
You guys better have had a good time though. And just so I can be a pest, was there filming?

It turns out there were a few major complications after the war had ended.
I will fill you guys in later.
I have never been so much in pain after a war.
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,

Highlights:
Getting several hits, and not getting injured in any way
Tagging FA_24 with my 2k.
Getting an amazing hit on Cardiac Kid, from at least 125ft away.
Shooting Rune Hawk in the balls at 15ft, and him not seeming to notice, and him not admitting to being tagged.
Meeting FA_24, Badger, Rambo, Dumpster, K9, Oodalumps.
Buying an Assload of new guns, including and Arrowstorm for 5$.
Shooting Rambo in the foot on two occasions.
Selling my LS to K9, who really needed a primary, was good to help a brother out.
Lowlights:
Getting shot in the throat with Blink182's SM5k.
Getting shot in the head from 40ft away with a big blast.
Getting shot in the neck with the Doomsayer
My Ghettotech2k breaking before the war, and again during it.
My SF barrels being too tight, so I was unable to use it.
A bunch of People bailing.
Not being able to spend that much time at badger's sale, because my mom wanted to leave.
Having to leave early.
K9 tagging me with a MAV!!!!
Somehow blowing Blink's 5k with 4 pumps.... Not sure how that happened.

Plus taking the frankenmod and prettifying it.

mystefan:

Ah, so did I. My mom didn't really want me going, so I knew I grateful to be there, and I didn't make her wait for that. That was embarrasing, that shot with an NF. I missed one of FA_24's friend's head by a couple inches at 15ft with the same NF.
Yes, the frankenmod will serve you well. Hopefully you can prettify it. I am amazed at how far the SM750 shoots stock, about 30ft.
Another lowlight that I thought of was Tank Rat shooting me WHILE FA_24 was yelling "game on" He hadn't finished saying it, I hadn't started running, and smack! Maxshot shot to the elbow.

Pros:
Meeting Nerfers (faces to names, etc)
My Longshot working great
Capturing the flag in the second flag-in-the-middle game
Getting picked first a few times due to my Doomsayer
Shooting FA in the first game
Cons:
My Doomsayer not agreeing with my darts half the time. (I need thicker foam)
My Hornet leaked
The obvious leg pains

Getting my new, custom pump shotgun.
Using said gun to hit Forsaken and Crooked ( in the head ) as well as quite a few other people.
"Kill the Chief" round.
Seeing Canada.
An awesome war.
Canadian servers' lack of care for the drinking age.
Bad:
Lack of proper footwear leading to duct tape covered shoes and subsequent sliding in the wet grass/mud of the field.
"Do you have a smoke?"
"Do you have a light?"
"Where are my keys?"
"Where is my windshield?" ( sorry badger, it fits )
The LGLF is the Lawn Gnome Liberation Front. A nerf clan composed of Langley, Talio, Splitlip and potentially a few other people who aren't so active anymore.

- Weather. The weather was shitty while getting to the war site. However once majority of the attendees were there, the rain stopped. We even had sunshine for about 1/4 of the day.
- Endurance: We Nerfed from sun up to sun down. The battles continued until around 6:00pm
- My new found dodging abilities that kicked in about 3/5" into the day. I love it, it's like I leveled up or something. I can anticipate a darts path much earlier now. I am no Evil....yet.
- Seeing two fucking stefans collide mid air! I remember I was aiming at one guy with a max shot and I had my Doomsayer. I just remember shooting my doomsayer and hearing him fire it at the same time. I follow my stefan with my eyes and at around the half way mark I watched my stefan along with another one fire directly upwards. It was godly. When I saw that shit I was losing my mind. It was like when two super heroes punch at each other only to connect fists and neither super hero falls. Instead the sheer power sends a shock wave outwards. Knocking down buildings and such sending debris everywhere.
This is the kind of shit you only hear about. I could not believe I saw it in person. Does anyone remember who the guy was with the max shot?
- The amazing new park and the 7 tarps we had set up in between trees for cover.
- Getting multiple head shots throughout the day.
- Seeing my 2 co-workers and one of their brothers fall in love with the sport.
- Antonio, my buddy from work officially earning the name "Uncle Fester"
- The trophies I handed out. I had modified two trophies and engraved them. One trophy was for the "Best Rookie" Who I gave to Vince. It was a tough call between Vince, Joey and Spencer.
I have never seen someone move like that. This man would dodge like 5-6 of my darts and carefully take me out with a crappy LBB. This happened at least 8 times during the war.
The other trophy I handed out was to Badger + Maryann who to my knowledge drove the farthest to be here.
-Kicking ass as always.
- Watching Spencer panic, turning running top speed into a tree 3 feet in front of him. I wish I got that on tape.
- Seeing Badger kick some ass.
- Capturing the flag and getting my 240 pound alpha male frame in top speed for the win.
- Seeing a new Cambridgian in action.
- Seeing someone else completed Doomsayer. Oodalumps, although he has a quirky name this guy can kick some ass.
- Having a permit so the parks people and cops couldn't boot us out.
- Shooting Tank in the head from around 80 feet and him comically falling.
- Badger and I having a primaries stand off in CTF? We exchanged about 4 rounds each. Doomsayer and SM1.5K. We just kept getting closer and closer. Then he hosed me down with the Powerclip. Clever trick Badgie, I won't fall for it again.
- Watching Tank rat come back from Tim hortons with 12-16 coffees and doughnuts.
- The game of "Kill the Chief" that turned out to be a lot of fun.
- Meeting Dumpsters Grandfather who was a pretty cool guy. He brought this amazing camera and took something like 180 photos of seriously high quality stuff. Every photo I saw was desktop worthy stuff. Absolutely stunning material. I cannot wait to see them on Flickr.
- Being able to yell "Get the child" Keeping the tradition of Canadians at Nerf wars.
- Pushing the opposition into crossfires of other opposing teams.
- Having a great turnout of people even though some people did chicken out due to the rain in the morning.
- Taking on oodalumps whenever I got the chance. The main reason, I love a challenge.
- Seeing Blink in action once again. This mans ability to slip out of sight is amazing. In the 2 player death match, both Blink and Gyrvalcon snuck up on badger and I. Badger and Blink double killed each other. Gyrvalcon's dart hit me as I pulled the trigger hitting him. In other words the only man that walked away from that was Gyrvalcon. I still have the dirty welt on my shoulder from that. It was a plugged 2K from like 15 feet to the only part on my shoulder that doesn't have any muscle on it.
- My three new amazingly modded guns that were handed out to Rambo, Crooked and The Cardiac Kid.
- Cardiac Kids giant rain proof long johns.
- Tank rat falling while storming Rambo.
- Using the Mongo Titan for about 5 minutes before realizing it's a joke and switching back to my baby to kick ass in the 5:15 game.
Cons:
- Getting shot in the face by Crookeds cousin. It was the most painful hit I have ever taken. I was hit right between the nose and the upper lip. I felt like I was just at the dentist for like 30 minutes.
- Not enough dart sweeps. Between myself,Cardiac kid, Crooked and Rambo we had made 2104 darts. By the end we only have roughly 400
I had to supply darts for 5+ people and not nearly enough people were sweeping throughout the day. I know everyone else was getting low as well. I am thinking of doing another dart sweep next weekend.
- The end of an Era, a 6 year war worthy weapon has passed on. Blink's SM5K has fallen and not in battle
a great shame has been committed. It will be corrected.
- The time in between rounds. Now there were a lot of new people so I cannot expect everyone to be loaded and ready to go on command. This is not really a con because those who attended will know better for next year.
- Washrooms were locked even though the city said it would be open.
Once again the Pros, Insanely outweigh the cons.
All in all this was a blast and I almost cannot wait for the war next year.
I know there are much more pros I will edit this post later.
I took a decent amount of video and some nice photos. I will post them later.
Did anyone else take video? I am going to make the Hell #2 video soon.
The top secret guns. There were two of them. They were both in action at Hell. I did not have time to do an unveiling. They will both have write ups in the near future.

The washrooms being locked sucked. I think Antonio just took a piss off at the side at one point.
Tank Rat: THanks for the coffees, Im not sure how you walked all those things back from tim's.
Blink: I am REALLY sorry about your 5k. I SWEAR I only pumped the thing 4 times. We could have probably worked something out where I reimbursed you in some way, but you left before we could talk about that, the last time I saw you was when you were beginning to take the thing apart, I didn't know the thing was completely beyond repair until today.
Im pissed that I didn't see any of the secret mods.

Blink: As sorry as I am for your loss, I do not appreciate you publicly insulting me, calling me immature and saying that I should not be allowed back. Yes, Im new, I have never handled a 5k before. As Bob seems to have stated, your already serious leak probably just worstened over time:
QUOTE(Another thought (and another reason why I don't care for plugging), is that overpumping will not always result in immediate failure. Chambers may crack and weaken, and only break some time later - even under just "normal" use. If modded Nerf blasters were aircraft, they would all have to be rated "experimental" - like the shuttle.)/QUOTE
I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. It was my misfortune to be holding the gun at the time. I am sure you won't agree with me on this, it being your primary for so long. This is the only appology you will get, after your public flaming of me. I am sorry, but it wasn't my fault your gun decided to fail at that particualr moment.

Easy there pumpkin - I was not my intent to come off as a jerk...I'm just pissed. The gun was leakey from the rear firing pin. The spray of lube fixed the rear o-ring and it was all sealed up again. The problem with the gun after further inspection was the front pin that pulls the valve back. It was not the action of pumping that blew the gun but the trigger pulled the pin and the top portion snapped. Ask me how...I have no idea.
And You never said a thing to me afterwards. I was there for about 20min after my gun broke...
Thats fine. You didn't seem like a jerk at the war. You had had the gun for years, possible that it was just weak from all the use. All I told you was how many times I pumped the gun. I went off and looked for darts, and to do another round after that. Im happy there are no real hard feelings. I understand you are pissed, and I would be too. Team_Slaya was selling a SM5K tank. He had 2 but said one was broken, the front sealing piece was gone. Perhaps you could buy that and replace your broken part. He did have a working one too.
Hope this helps.
