I just went to goodwill after work today and got a new version reactor and some stink blaster gun... I have some pictures of it from my cell phone and I just want to know if it's worth anything before I mod it to shoot darts. It used to shoot nasty balls that smell 20+ feet(I read this on the website...).

The gun:

The plunger stroke compared to a dart:

Apparently, doesn't shoot anything except smelly air....

However, with a plunger stroke like that, I would think it has some potential.

As a side note, I was a little concerned, because I googled "blaster", "stink" and "balls".

I don't think too many people know what price it would go for... I mean, I don't want to screw with an expensive thing but I could get awesome range sooo...

Thanks for the help though carbon.
EDIT: I just found 2004 on the gun so I'm going to pop it open...

I have tried to modify that gun, it did not work, although it has massive air volume the spring is not powerful enough to overcome the obsicle of a dart in the barrel. Your best bet would be to try to put bungiees on it.

I'll add some bungees later on but first I have to find a screwdriver... I just can't find one that won't kill the screws. Is there a possibility of a spring replacement?

I have a photobucket but I didn't feel like logging in. They're tiny ads.

I tried modding that thing when I first got into the hobby.
It has a huge amount of air volume but no power.
Hell, I even banded the thing and it didn't help much.
I was able to launch a stock dart about 18 feet out of pvc.
Stefans just seemed to shit out the barrel.
I remember it was violently thrown in the trash.

I used to see them sell for $40
Then I saw them sell for $10

Now I don't see them at all.
Good riddance.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

I'm still going to take a whack at it... Once I find an extractor bit because I screwed up most of the screws.

EDIT: What size of extractor bit should I buy? Does anyone happen to know?

They are air cannons they go on amazon for about 20 bucks brand new. It looks to have some potential so I'd say mod it if you got if at goodwill. If it is crap you're only out 2 bucks.

Forgive my spelling and grammar. I post from my cell phone a lot. Sometimes when I'm on the can at work.
