I opened up my scout yesterday I took out the AR and peg. Then i had to go out. My sister messed around with the internals and i am pretty sure she lost part of the cocking mechanism . (Edit: I lost the cocking bar) What should I do:
1 look for it
2 make a new part
3 use the spring in another gun
If you said 2, how do i make the part? If you said three, which gun? The LS and fire fly are the ones i am modding today.Would it be good in either of them? Thanks.

If i understood you correctly you lost the cocking bar. You dont need the cocking bar to fire the gun, so you dont need to look for it. Just use zip ties to cock it.

On our scout, the tabs that hold that bar broke off. It has been glued, but there's not alot of room. The plan is to drill through both halves of the cocking mechanism and use a thin bolt to replace it. I don't know bolt sizes. But, one that uses a 6mm nut should be about right.

On my Mav and Crossfire, I have done the bolt thing to both of them. Drill from the inside of the slider mech, and use a bit just big enough for a 6-32 bolt to fit in. Do this on both sides, and put the gun together like you normally would, but using the bolt. You might have to bend the returner spring a little to fit the bolt though. Hope this helps.
