My friend Ice Nine and I just came back from a local toy store. Boy, were we lucky! We found some P99 mock-ups for 5 bucks. We figured, "What the hell," and bought two. They have two kinds of ammo, a little suction dart and little yellow rubber bullets. They are extremely accurate, have great range (We guess about sixty feet) and if you put three bullets in the barell, it has a nice shotgun effect.

Dude that's so fucking sick. You can buy them on the internet, forget where. They're called like "soft bullet shooters" or something. If you modify it with brass or PETG and replace the spring, you could probably get lock 'n' load range or better. Please keep us up to date if you modify it!

Yeah yeah, but think about it, it shoots things that are way tinier than micro darts so its probably not going to get that great of range once modded for stefan use.

Dude that's sweet. Reminds me of my find at the dollar store. Geeze, people should really start exploring non-nerf lines more--particularly the unpromising ones, it seems. Try a mod!

Dude those little yellow rubber dart guns are so awesome! I got one for christmas a really long time ago and it broke right away. My friend had two and we used to have wars all the time. We totally stuck a bunch of them down the barrel. It was great. I didn't think they'de have enough power for foam darts though, but thats just even more awesome.

Well, since I had one, I was trying to figure out what to do with it. I had to go to Home Depot today for materials for my science fair project, when I remembered that I had one of the yellow bullets in my pocket. I checked the FBR, and 3/8" was the exact same diameter. I bought a pack, and a little later I'm going to make a couple.
How would I weigh these darts? With only hot glue because it's so light? Or maybe a really tiny weight? Any help would be greatly appriciated.
I plan to get more of these guns later, an maybe use a dremel to open the front more for a copper barrel.

I've gotten that 3/8" stuff and tried putting the slingshot wieght in it by shoving in all the way up to the front through the back with a screwdriver. The wieght was imbalanced though. You either have to cut it the right length or use to right amount of wieght. And its pretty tough because the weight has to be really small. That size seemed fairly impracticle to me after trying it out, but if it fits perfectly in the gun you micht as well try it. Goodluck!

Well, I just got some tiny screws we had lying around and twisted them into the dart. I don't have enough time right now to put hot glue on, but I fired them and they went about ten feet farther than the regular bullets.
I also opened it up, and I was suprised to find a fairly tiny, weak spring inside. I'm suprised it was able to fire so far.

Sorry to bring back an old topic, but we were experimenting with our guns. Bobert replaced the spring with the one from his TTG, and now the bullets feel like a bee stings when they hit.

Btw, if you are still looking for weights, BB's work really nice. I even use them for my micros, people say its too light, but I usually stick 2-3 in, much cheaper than slingshot ammo, and you can vary the weight easier depending how powerful your gun is.
