I have nearly completed my homemade bolt action rifle. All I need to finish it is a coupler, as I need to connect the bolt/breech assembly to the plunger/catch assembly.

Nice bullpup design, but I have a few questions. How do you prime the gun? I mean, does the bolt assembly also cock the gun or does the plunger have it's own priming system? Perhaps you can make your write up more specific as well, like parts (and instructions).

I know you haven't finished the gun and obtained ranges yet, but those would be nice to know. Good job! :D

The Bolt does also prime the gun. I really didn't intend this to be much of a write up, but if I make another I will probably make a write up.

Looks cool!

I have a couple of questions...

Does it prime via a spring? And if so what kind?
Also are you shells going to be cpvc or brass?

I can't answer your second question because it's not my gun, but I think I know the answer to the first one. Judging from the trigger, it looks kinda like Carbon's SNAP-type design, but as to which spring I have no idea. Correct me if I'm wrong MoonMaster.

Shadowblade, you are correct. I plan to have plates of some kind put on the stock to cover up the clothespin when it's finished. UpperHand, I am not using shells. It breech loads into almost any barrel that can somehow be used with a cpvc or pvc coupler. This includes cpvc, pvc, copper, and brass/petg nested in pvc.
