Look at this! It rules! But it's so expensive... I didn't know it until I visited the website. I have some but my dad got it at an amateur radio convention for less, I just don't know how much. I used it to seal my MS around the o-ring. It might have too much friction, and I don't know what silicone lubricant will do to it yet. I'll update this post once I put my gun back together.

Damn. That looks like it would be VERY useful. That's a pain in the nerfer's wallet, though. But, then again, think how long it will last you. It's not like you are just going to be wrapping it around stuff. But good find.

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

I actually saw this stuff in the valentines day store in the mall. It's marketed towards bondage fanatics because it only sticks to itself, not to the person you're taping up.

That would be very useful... The E-Tape I use begins to wear off after a lot of air pressure so it would be nice.

It looks really nice! I normally only use electrical tape for creating better seals with shells, so I wouldn't need it that much. However it would be nice to not have to worry about broken seals!

I did some math and that means that it is about $1.05 a foot. I think thats too expensive to use on a nerf gun. Every time a would wrap something I would feel bad for my wallet.

You can buy silicon tape at ACE Hardware. It isn't Rescue Tape, but I have used both of these (though I used what the military calls F4 tape, which is what Rescue Tape is based off of) and they are the same thing, but the roll at ACE is only 10 feet, but also $7.99 on their website. I'll stop by my local ACE and see how much it is.

The only thing to be concerned about is the center of F4 tape and every silicon tape I have seen is thicker than the rest.

This is completely consistent, but I don't think that's worth the extra money. I now realize that this stuff is kind of a ripoff, and I don't see how they could get away with $25 per roll.

Did you read the site? It is $25 for two rolls. That still isn't cheap, but it's better than $25 for one.
