I'm planning on buying some from him, but I only use stock darts and CDT's, so I need to know how well it fits Streamlines and CTD's.

Has anyone here used it for Stock Darts?

Ask NerfCrazy (he might be gone). Why can't you use stephans?

Because I have upwards of 500 stock darts, I rarely nerf with more than 4 other people, my attempts at stefans were pitiful, and all of my guns are modified to use stock darts.

I usually modify my guns in two different ways - Short 17/32" brass barrels for taggers, or Long 9/16" brass barrels for Streamlines. I have run out of brass, and my financial situation has become so pitiful that I can't afford to blow so much money on more brass, so I am looking at Petg, with is cheaper and looks much easier to work with.

If Petg can replace my 17/32" or 9/16" brass, it will save me money and allow me to continue my nerfing projects, which are all currently at a stand-still because I have no barrel-material.

So basically I need to know how OMC's Petg compares to 9/16" brass...

His petg works quite well with stock darts.

I have several guns with just a petg barrel addition (OMC's) and ar removed and they function quite well.

edit: I also do not have/use stefans

I will second that. Until I get some money for decent foam, I will be using CDTDs, and they work fine in all my blasters.

Honestly I don't find that OMC's petg works well with CDTS. It's way too loose. Keep in mind I have the medium walled stuff. The thick walled stuff is too tight. 17/32" brass works the best for stock darts in my opinion. I've been using this system for over a year now and I have not found any system that gets better ranges. Aluminum works pretty well, but that can be quite expensive. Although so is brass.

This all refers to barrel material for high-powered guns. PETG might work well with less powerful springers.

I have the think-walled petg, and it isn't too tight at all. It could even be a bit tighter.

Using Stock Darts? This stuff is starting to sound comparable with 9/16" brass, which would be perfect.

Yes. Stock darts work pretty well, in my opinion. Like I said, it could be tighter, but it still works fine for me.

Assassin, how much are you looking to get? If it's a decent amount, I might consider sending you a sample of each to test out. I generally don't do samples, but I'm in a rare good mood.

Chances are thick wall will work. Ryan McNumbers is right that thick wall is a little tight, but I prefer that to too loose.

PM me about it.

No need to send me a sample, I'm only buying 10' for now (thanks for the offer, though). You've been PM'd.
