This is my first time modding a crossfire. I opened my gun up and took out the AR's. When I put it back together it worked exactly the same. The weird thing is that when I shoot it, it is now very quiet. I can't hear a thing. Maybe I left something out? Or put something in wrong? Here is a picture of it.

And here is a piece that fell out when I opened it up.

I don't know if that is a important piece.
I also don't know why it work's exactly the same.
Shouldn't work better then before?

Please, help me.

Thanks for your time.

Try sawing off a cm off the end of the plunger head(Provided you didn't cut anything yet). Then wrap in 2 layers of Painter's tape.It should be working, as that's how mine's done.

That was a little confusing. :)

Nothing looks wrong to me. Try adding a spring and fixing the seal and see if that works.

Edit: could you take a picture from the side of the orange piece? I think it may be the small bit in the base of the handle that lets you put a clip/carabineer on the blaster.

If the fact that it's being quiet isn't affecting ranges, I wouldn't bother with it.

That orange piece goes in the bottom corner of the handle.
My Crossfires are real quiet too. The only noise I can really hear from them is a little pop the dart makes when it leaves the barrel. The reason it's working about the same is because the AR doesn't do a whole lot in this gun. It has a low air output to begin with, so the AR doesn't really have a whole lot of air to block off.

You can improve the ranges of it a by doing a few things. First, you can remove the O-ring, clean off the area it was sitting on, add a strip of e-tape that fits in that seat, then put the O-ring back in. Add lubricant after that.
Also, you can glue a couple pennies to the spring wall. I think I used like 2 or 3. A barrel replacement is always a good idea too.

Yeah, I sawed off the whole barrel up to the o-ring, then put on a crayola barrel and I'm getting around 50' with mine. It was super quiet and made these little ping noises when I shot it. Then I made a silencer and I can't here a single thing.

Firefly Spring is your best bet. It works well for me, I'm dropping about 45's(Last time I checked) But be careful I broke My Crossfire with that Spring =P It lasted me about 4 months though.

Still worth it =P
