So I decided to make something a bit more fun. I don't really see this getting any application in a war, although if you have any add on barrels for a shotgun effect, that should work out. My thought process went something like this: Hey, I haven't messed around with my nerf guns in a while... I don't really want to buy a new one, so what do I have lying around I can play with... Hey, my maverick got painted shut before I could do a barrel replacement, and i have an extra titan around... Wow, the titan tank fits almost perfectly into where the mav barrels were... let's get this show on the road. And then I got the show on the road. There isn't much to this, other than cutting a few things. Without further ado, I give you the big fucking gun.

Alice came to the fork in the road.
"Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

I laughed SOOO hard when I saw that. Awesome! I bet you could get some wicked ranges with it if you plug the pump, and at a war that thing would have a BUTTLOAD of surprise factor to it.

Damn. That is a BFG. How do you fire it? The regular Maverick Trigger?

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

That would be a great sidearm if you did Bendy Straw's Absolver modification to it, almost wants to make me hack up my couplered/absolvered (?) titan...just to do this...but I know it's not worth it...also, can you tell us where to hack (because usually when I try to find this out by myself....I destroy the whole gun)
One more question...is it awkward to pump?
Although it is a BFG, I don't find it practical as a holister (spelling) to that would be awkward (in my opinion) and if you did use it as a sidearm,
then you'd probably need another sidearm...because it's a pump gun...or you could use that as your primary...
EDIT:

Damn. That is a BFG. How do you fire it? The regular Maverick Trigger?

Probably he just kept the maverick trigger and hooked the trigger to a piece of metal (ie paperclip) or a string and then he tied that (or hot glued...etc.) it to the titan compressor
That's what my friend did to what is now a destroyed IX2k (scout2k...or the "titan pistol" and the 2k internals integrated into it...)

I laughed SOOO hard when I saw that.

I did too

The pump is plugged, it's the same Titan I got 170 ranges with a ctd and cpvc. The triggers are linked via baling wire, so the maverick trigger fires the titan. This thing is all about fun, really. I wanted to mess with some pneumatics, and I really like modding the mav, for some reason. I suppose you could use it in a war, or some role playing thing where you have to blow something up, but really, I get plenty of fulfillment just shooting this thing across the room.

-edit-
Where you cut the front of the maverick is up to you really. I left as much of it on as I could, but you could conceivably get rid of the entire top arm of the front. You will need to cut out a lot of the support structures for the maverick internals to make room for the hose you have to run for the titan. Just go really slow with a dremel and you should be fine. I even ripped some parts out with pliers, because the dremel was too slow. This isn't really a practical gun at all, so the primary/sidearm dilemma isn't a concern of mine. If you're actually worried about it, shotgun or mongo it, and make it a primary.

Or a 'Bazerick'... does that sound like a German gun or is it just me? Anyway, I like the modification, even if it turns out to be impractical. Now all it needs is a paint job, with the name etched/painted on the side...

Cool. Personally, I'd put the pump somewhere else. Like others have said, that would be badass with a shotgun mod. Maybe even a pvc stock.

I seriously did the exact same mod to my titan and maverick. I was trying to create a rocket pistol. I just scrapped it because the pump wasn't as neat as yours is and it was essentially a rifle with a pistol grip. I'm glad to see the concept was feasible though. Nice work!

Dang it, that was my idea, except with BendyStraw's "Absolver" shotgun mod... You beat me to posting it... Well, good mod anyways. I would recommend putting the pump on the top of the Maverick.

With the pump diagonal and on the side, I can pump it while the missile is loaded. If it were on top, I wouldn't be able to do that.

When I first saw the title of this topic, I thought BFG=Big Friendly Giant. I was wrong. There's nothing friendly about that thing.

I built my Titan Rifle into a BFG 9000 like the one made by IndyMogul but it broke and was to hard to pump so I scraped it for a more SniperRifle look.

Discretion is the better part of valor, thats why I carry a very big axe.

You can fool some people all of the time and everyone some of the time, but you cant fool all the people all of the time, but it sure is fun trying.

Dangaard, very nice. You lose the fun of the pistol, but that looks way more functional.
