Lately, I have been experimenting with electricity. I went to Radio Shack and picked up the parts to make an LED with a toggle switch. There were alot of options for the on/off control, everything from a small button to red blinking switches. I chose a toggle switch because it looks alot cooler that just a button.
Materials
1. Green LED
2. Cable ties (optional)
3. 1/2in. CPVC
4. Toggle Switch
5. Electrical solder
6. AA Battery pack (holds two)
7. Velcro

Here is how you wire a basic LED.

You will need, a green LED, a low resistance toggle switch, a AA battery pack (holds two), and silver electrical solder.

Connect the wires as shown in the diagram.

Drill a hole for the toggle switch to fit through and tighten the nuts.

Put velcro on the back of the battery pack and on the connection point.

Run 1/2in CPVC down the length of the gun.

Insert the LED into the CPVC and you have got a flashlight.

If you have any questions, feel free to comment.

Wow! That's awesome! I have never been to a night war, but, would'nt a flashlight not be a good idea? That would give off your location. And if it is for aiming in the dark, I would go with a neon green sight that people put on shotguns.

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

It depends on your situation whether a light would be a good thing or a bad thing. If you are in a large group moving together, you're going to be seen anyway - might as well have a better chance of spotting lone-wolves hiding in the shadows.

Also, if during a game, you have been running with your light on for a bit, your eyes will be adjusted to it, wheras your opponents' eyes might not be, which can give you a bit of an advantage as far as spotting/aiming goes.

All you have to do is make sure you have a power switch on the thing so you can easily turn it on or off, and you have a versatile tool that can make you much more effective in the dark.

I carry both the recon "laser" and the n-strike green tactical light in pockets on my vest. Though they can compromise a stealthy approach, nobody ever said you have to turn them on, and they can be quite helpful for rapid target acquisition in low light settings.

A side of nerf: Your mods are simple yet functional, and continue to impress me, keep it up.
