The rocketstorm is a turreted pull and release gun. To rotate the turret you pull up on it and rotate the turret.
cutting device
hot glue
e tape
cpvc
sandpaper
drill and a 3/16" drill bit

First take your rocketstorm

and cut off the old barrels as close to the blue pieces as possible.

Drill the holes larger in the old barrels and rough up the area with sandpaper.

Then take enough e tape to wrap around the blue piece once and cut it in half the long way.

Then cut your barrels long enough to fit a cdtd inside of it and put hot glue on the bottom of it first and then put them on over the e tape (I tried two other ways of doing this, I tried to hot glue around the base of the blue piece, I tried hot gluing when the barrels were on, and with both the other barrels get in the way) and press it hard onto the roughed up blue turret piece.

Very nice right up! This is the first mod I'v ever seen on this gun. I assume you are doing one on the Ramrod too?

Yes, I am currently trying to figure out how to mod it other than a barrel replacement.

Try a spring replacement or something, or a trigger of some kind. The problem with pull back guns is that they are very innacurate, and a trigger would really help that.

OMG 500th post!!

It's just screaming to be rearloading...

I seen a movie about that once.

Great mod, can't wait to see ranges. What ranges are you hoping to get out of this? And I agree with MSDFS, you should try to make a trigger of some sort.

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

Due to requests this will be part one of two. Part two will have a spring replacement and hopefully a trigger.

Thats cool. This blaster reminds me of a Blast Hammer with a turret. Nice job.

Does anyone know of a way of dissolving glue other than zippo lighter fluid? I think I remember FA saying goof off worked in one of his mods.

Goof off or goo-be-gone both work wonders. They'll probably dissolve a bit of the plastic too. Only use a little bit.

Thanks, I will use goof off because I have a can of it with 30% more than the standard can.
Ranges are up for the barrel replacement.
