This is a new type of dart that I'm pretty sure i came up with, while fooling around. If someone did before me please tell me so I can give you credit. Thanks.

This is just a dart made out of scraps thats really only good for shooting at your buddys at home. Yes, I know stefans and stock darts can out perform this, but just a good use for scraps.

I got this idea from Star Wars Attack of the Clones, It was the dart that Jango Fett used to kill Zam Weasle after she was about to reveal information. It was called the Kamino Saberdart heres a picture of it from a Star Wars book. (It really has 3 prongs instead of the 2 you can see there.)




Heres how to make it. (Note: This is only for guns like the nite strike. turrets and clip guns dont work.)

What you need

• Hot glue gun
• Post from air restricters
• Any type of stock dart
• An orange AR
• Some scissors

(Note: the AR MUST be orange)



First take a stock dart, (doesn't matter what type) and pull the head off it.



Then on the back of the head you want to cut off the tube thing.



After that stuff the tube down the middle of the AR where the 3 prongs are. (Make sure the hole is sticking up.)



Then ram the post into the hole on the tube.



Make sure you keep pushing all the way, so the post goes through the tube and through the hole in the AR.



Next cut off the end of the post sticking out the back of the AR with scissors.



Now in the middle of the three prongs were the post and the tube is, put a dot of hot glue. Not a lot, but enough so that the post can't be pushed out without some work.



This is what the final product should look like.



Out of 10 shots, the stock dart tag dart go about 63 feet to the Saberdarts 57.



Edit:This may be a little painful on bare skin so just add a dome of hot glue over the prongs. Of course this is not suitable for a Nerf war, because they are not legal.

Umm, I hope you don't plan on using that at any wars. I've made similar type darts, with ar's but only by filling the center hole with glue, rather than all those steps.

Good idea for target shooting, but it's pretty much been done before. They are called "death darts." You take an air restrictor, the three pronged piece, rip off the head of a stock dart, or make a hole in the tip of a blank stefan with your glue gun, fill it with hot glue a little, the stick the air restricotr on there. They are used, so you can see where your darts hit, and they stick in cardboard.
EDIT: And yeah, they are illegal to use at wars, and shouldn't even be shot at people.

Isn't this dangerous? I mean, look there are 3 plastic posts sticking out. Don't you think it would hurt just a little? This also reminds me of death darts, which are illegal.

That probably works just as good. Just wanted to post it. As I said at the top its just for shooting some buds.
I've never heard of death darts. thanks for telling me. But i suggest covering the top of the AR with a dome of glue, if you don't want it to sting. Personally I don't think they hurt that bad but thats just my opinion.

You don't wear protective eye-ware when you fight?? You should
