I was considering buying a Ultimator fairly cheap from a relative out of state, but before I decide if I want it I need to know if Titan Missiles work with it because he has no missiles for it.

How much is one without the missile worth and how much would a missile cost/ could i make titans work?

Just buy it and worry about the missles later. I have seen ultimators sell in eccess of 100 dollars. You cant go wrong buying it for cheap.

Plus you could always single it if you cant get a missile.

You can make missiles by taking a pool noodle with an opening in the end. Then make the opening in the back of it larger to fit onto the ultimator barrel and try to make it as long as the ultimator missile. then putting some duct tape over the front end and put some bbs in it then cover that with duct tape or some sort of foam. Then make fins if you want to out of foam or duct tape. Hope that helps you decide if you will get it or not.

Ya, but it probably isnt worth the effort, I'd also like something that looks decent not something i pull out of the trash. Has anyone acctually tried titan missiles on the ultimator, or are you all just guessing?

It seems that everyone here is speculating, so I went into the basement of my house and checked it out for myself, but in reverse. My Ultimator is currently packed up and it would take me forever to dig out the Titan missile, but I had a Titan launcher in reach as well as an Ultimator missile. The Ultimator missile is loose over the Titan's barrel. It will not fire that way.

Therefore, the Titan missile will not fit onto the Ultimator barrel. There is about a 1" difference in the diameter of the hole between the Titan and the Ultimator missile, with the Ultimator missile having the larger hole.

I do agree with everyone though that you should acquire the Ultimator. You do see, from time to time, the missiles on ebay and if you can get your hands on either those or even a missile form the XXL Missile Launcher, you will be fine. Worse case scenario, you can make one like like NerfCrazy described, but use about 2-3 AAA batteries as the weight. Someone made a write-up about how to make your own missiles, but I can't remember who.

Didn't somebody make a writeup for homemade mini titan rockets that were made from cardboard tubes and weighted with nerf balls? Maybe he could do something like that.
