I've looked through the paintjob/modification thread, and I've seen some people with M16's or AR15's converted to nerf. I searched it but I couldn't find were to get one, I remember someone saying they go it from the dollar store but I can't find one that carries it. Where would I get it, oh ya and by the way I found a way to use normal pvc for a plunger.

I must be reading this wrong, but from what I can tell. . .you want to make a real gun(or an airsoft gun?) into a Nerf gun? I feel like an idiot right now because I must be wrong, and you certainly can't get a M16 from a dollar store, even if you mean an airsoft gun version, so. . .

EDIT: *facepalm* Thanks KF. I was thinking of something different entirely. ANYWAYS I don't think they have much modding capability, as they usually use very weak springs.

Of course they have stores. The website should tell you locations.

This is a neat idea though, putting the nerf gun internals into the realistic toy guns.
