I am planning on hosting a nerfwar for all you nerfers in Minnesota. It will be held at Basset Creek Park in Golden Valley, Minnesota. I will be fairly loose on which guns you can bring and which guns you can't. Please use common sense. Is this a good date for everyone? Any questions?

Given that this is the middle of the week, I'm guessing attendance will be low. I suggest you just attend the War on the 2nd of August.

I think that he was at MNNO, from what NerfCrazy told me. We are already having a war on the 2nd. And as Sam said, thats on a tuesday, so few would come.

Yes, I was at the MNNO and I will go out today and take pics of the sight. It has great woods with extensive trails. And how about the 22nd of August (A friday) for the war?

The woods have incredible paths in them, there are large fields, hilly areas, and picnic tables that are covered and they have a drinking fountain(I haven't used it nor will I seeing that if I do go I will bring the 5 gallon water cooler). You need to get pictures so people can see the place. Also, Saturdays work the best for people.

NerfCrazy, you should WASH OUT that cooler. I got sick from drinking you water at SPANO, I'd hate to A.) have it happen again, and B.) have it happen to someone else.

I'm on vacation then, so I can't come. I doubt many of the other vets could come either, since most of them would be at college or getting ready to leave for college. How about the weekend prior?

I can probably make it with my friends, but I'm still in the process of working on my Nerf Guns (repairs, mods, general maintenance, etc.) so I might have to do this war instead of the Aug. 2 war, I'm not sure. It depends on when keef ships my replacement bolt for my LS. Either way, I'm for sure going to this one because it's really frigging close.

My vote is not the 23rd but the 16th.

I leave for college the 22nd and thus none of me or my crew will attend a war on August 23rd. However, since I'm always enthusiastic about a new location, I vote you pull it back a week. If this is done, I offer carpooling services to anyone thinking they don't want to make the drive.

I agree with hilt, move it to the 16th. I'm guessing that Sam and Carrtoon have to leave for college at about the same time too. Also, change the name of the thread to something referring to the fact that the war is in MN.

How about GVNO (Golden Valley Nerf Outing?) I'm just pitching. Although, I too am in agreement with Venom, I start college around the same time (not that my schedule isn't flexible for the first week) but I'd love to Nerf with everyone that came to SPANO.

OK heres my reasons for on the 23rd 1) I wouldn't be able to make it on the 16th 2) on the 2nd there is a war and if I plan the war for the 23rd it will give people a chance to make repairs and more stephans.

Oh, forgot to mention this the closest McDonald's is four miles away. You should bring your own lunch or bring money to get donuts for lunch. (there is a bakery about 2 blocks away with amazing donuts, and there is a pizza man so we could all get pizza.)

I don't know how much of a turnout you expect, with me, and all the other vets (-NerfCrazy, mabye) unable to come. I say, just wait until fall MNNO. I don't think that you need two wars in one month in very close proximity to each other (location wise). MNCSO will probably have a better turnout too.
