Ok, yesterday my group voted on which foam I should buy. They decided on the grey foam from aloghomestore. I just have one question before I buy the foam, and that is how does it fit in 1/2 inch cpvc?

Some people have gotten the White Backer Rod from this site with good success: http://www.aloghomes...acker-rod.shtml

10ft for $3 w/o shipping. I got my foam at ACE, it works decently with my CPVC, but for PETG it's a little loose. Even with thick walled PETG it slides down.

I got some from that website, and it is terrible. It was pretty dense, but it was almost as big as mega sized foam.

Megas = 5/8", Stock Micros = 1/2", average stefan is 9/16, only 1/16 of an inch different than a mega. That's normal. They're all almost as big as a mega.

In my experience, both stock micros and my stefans have a diameter closer to .51" rather than .5" and .56".

black Sashco Fbr works good and it is relativley cheap. 200' for $12 plus shipping.

I found my Frost King extremely dense, maybe it was just a good batch, because all the other 1/2's were too big for my PETG, and when I compared it to my friends Frost King it was considerably denser.
