Has anything like this ever been attempted?

I intend to build this in the near future but right now I'm very busy with summer school. I would like suggestions in helping me to improve this design or otherwise how to go about constructing it. Please don't refrain from saying "wow, this is a big failure waiting to happen."

Currently I'm going to find a large hunk of plastic for the internals and see if it's even within my price range. The outside will be made of pvc fittings and seals will be made with large rubber washers around the pressure chambers.

Is there a specific name for this type of thing? Searching "rotating valve" on google gives me useless information and this topic appears on the first page of results.

This is a theory thread.

Try it and tell us the results later.

I made a quick post when a person was working on an idea, and it made Galaxy613 say,"That makes sense!" and TRY it.

He came out with pretty good results (not verbatim instructions) but he used my IDEA instead.

If you are actually trying this, say that in your first post and say, "I would like suggestions in helping me do _____"

For rotating chambers just get some 2k chambers... But there would be 4 tubes... You would have to have an airtight seal in order to only need one hole for all 4 tanks...

-Sure.

Try it and tell us the results later.
(two interpretations)
-Ok, I'll shut up and not ask the community for help.
-When I try I will tell you the result.

I made a quick post when a person was working on an idea, and it made Galaxy613 say,"That makes sense!" and TRY it.
-I am looking for a response that makes me go "That makes sense!" and TRY it.

He came out with pretty good results (not verbatim instructions)
-How are the plans verbatim? "adj: "corresponding word for word to the original source or text: a verbatim record of the proceedings."

but he used my IDEA instead.
-I'm looking for these IDEAs.

If you are actually trying this, say that in your first post and say, "I would like suggestions in helping me do _____"
-I should have done this.

I apologize but I took some offense from this and the caps lock.

Kid Flash: It's one hole for 1 tank at a time, but yes I'm pretty worried about the seal. I can't find any 2ks and the big piece of plastic just serves as the pressure chambers. Air is actually released by the hole in front as the insides rotate.

I'm working on a rotating valve/ bolt. It's a little different than yours, but you might want to take a look.
