I was using my BBB in an indoor skirmish at a friend's house and learned that unless I had a side arm, using a BBB is dangerous for me (poor ROF). I wanted to stick a clip on it, but the clips I found on the site seemed like a lot of work, so I made a breech that accepts Nerf N-Strike clips. It's bolt action, and has a few hiccups, but otherwise cycles taggers well. Unfortunately, I haven't attached this to any guns yet, so I don't know how practical it is. The bolt pull slot looks botched because the CPVC slipped while being machined.
Anyway, Here's a side view with clip:
Bolt open all the way (if you squint you can see a tagger in the clip):
Bolt half way open (optimist):
Bolt closed:
Here's the rear of the chamber interior with bolt open:
Here's the front of the chamber interior with the same dart I loaded in the above pictures:
And last, the bolt closed bottom view:
Hopefully, this breech will work nicely with my green BBB (pg96 of the show off your mods thread). If the pictures are huge, sorry. I resized them to 400 by 300 on Photobucket, but apparently the editing system of Photobucket is a late April fool's joke.
Breech That Takes N-strike Clips
I think I'll stick it on my BBB.

That's a cool breech. I would suggest replacing the tiny little bolt handle with something larger, like a dowel, because that little thing could easily slip oiut of your hand.
It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

Nice, any chance we could see a write-up? With a few minor improvements, that could be very useful.

Nicely done. How's the seal on the clip - do you think it is better or worse than the Longshot/Recon?
How well does the clip stay where it is? What, if anything, is holding it there? Did the clip require any modification to fit into this, or would any stock CS-6 Clip work with your breech?

There's a nub on the left top of the clips that have to be shaved off to work, but the flexibility of the 1/2" CPVC holds the clip extremely well. The seal right now is pretty bad. There's a gap between the bolt and the chamber which is visible in the last picture, so until I fix both the seal and the reliability (the bolt will jam every so often) I'm going to hold off on a write up.

Wow, I was really thinking of something like that, yet i'm not a real good modder (yet, i'm still a noob...) but I agree that using a BBB without a sidearm is pretty bad (integrated NF into BBB...so it's like a backup shot). This mod/homemade is perfect for me because I have 5 N-strike clips. Also, a long time ago, I was thinking of a "universal clip mod" (like the universal barrel mod, just you mod your gun to take a mod/homemade like this, sorry if that was confusing) and I guess this could be it! Anyways, great job and hopefully you can post a writeup and attach it to your gun (maybe BBB) to see if it increases/decreases ranges.
amazing!

p.s. will it work with stefans?

c'mon, give us a write-up. After all, then you might have hundreds of people who might have a brain storm and fix the problems faster then you will alone

Well, I scrapped this one, and will work on another to replace it due to:
-no seal at all
-bad milling
-too big to be practical
-closing the bolt is a hassle
-will sometimes jam
-overall crappy quality
However, this model is not a failure, but a proof of concept.
