I need a airtank for my semi-auto, but can't figure the best way to make one. -_- I want to make removeable, refillable ones. I also want to make it attached to the barrel somehow so I don't have to carry the thing around all the time. Is there a way of transferring air from one big tank that I don't hook up to the gun.

You want to pump up a big airtank and use it to fill little ones that you will attach to your gun? Well, you could put a PVC adapter on your big air tank, and then thread on a ballvalve. You'd need a tubeless tire valve on the top, to actually fill the big air tank. Anyways, after you thread on the ball valve, then you could put a thread and ballvalve on your little tank, and get the two ball valves connected (Maybe I'll make a diagram. After they are connected, you would open both, letting air into your little tank, then close the little tank's valve, then the bigger tank's valve. Un thread them, so they are both separate things, and then thread your little air tank onto your gun. Works in my mind, maybe if I'm nice I'll make a picture for you if you don't understand.

No it's not mine but it's nearly exactly like my design except it used a valve I used a hose handle.

well, I heard that a very large tank gives u many shots. Only disadvantage is it takes a lot of pumps. But wit a big tank u should be able to get 15-20 good shots. Or u could get a small tank which shoots like 3 shots and takes like 2 pumps. I suggest the large tank. A very good way to build a tank is to get a 2 pieces of 1inch CPVC or PVC pipe (somewhere around 4-6 inches). Take the pieces and connect them to a 3 way connector. Put end caps at the end of both pipes. This makes a pretty good air tank its very strong and well built. It holds a lot of pressure. Sorry i cant send a plan i dont know how to make blue prints. Its hard to explain without a picture

You will never get 15-20 shots from a single airtank.

A 4-6 inch airtank might give you one very weak shot.
I dont think youve read up on this or done any calculations for homemade air delivery. Ive got some pretty awsome design drawn up on paper, and normally, I would make another homemade, but I have a surprise(mgith post it later tonight) That is far better than any homemade(my opinion). Maybe Ill make it later, but serously man, before you post made up numbers and figures, do the calculations.
