Well a few of you might remember me posting about a ruptured air tank on my SM 5000. Now that life has calmed down a bit I have to tackle this problem again. To recap the tank I had needed to be opened and repaired. That repair didn't hold past a dozen firings before it split again. After attempting to repair the tank by fusing a PVC collar to either end I now have an unsavable hunk of plastic.
My request is this. Does anyone have a spare SM 5000 air tank they could part with. Either that or suggestions on what tanks can be retrofitted into it? I would prefer to have as little performance enhancing as possible as the game I play does not allow those mods. Also please don't suggest an AT2K tank I've already tried & the stupid elbow joint won't allow it to fit, except half way down the body. Barring that, what larger tanks (Titan maybe) would fit in the shell?
I'd like to hear from those who have experience with this blaster. Thanks in advance.

I know an SM1500 doesn't have an elbow, if that helps at all. They're pretty teeny though.

Well I'm hunting for ideas as well so the Mods forum is just as good for now.
I had an SM 3000 air tank but that went to the as yet dialed in Firefly refit.
I'm also hoping to use something currently in production and readily available.
