Stuff needed for mod:
Screwdriver
Hacksaw
1/2 cpvc
1/2 pvc
15/32 brass
dremel
pipe cutters
a 3k turret
a thick straw.
First unscrew the gun and take out the plunger assembly, you can throw away the barrel assembly.
Sand out the inside.
hammer a peice of cpvc into an inch of pvc, then glue that into the orange ring at the front of the plunger.
Cut the cpvc at about a half of an inch away from the pvc.
glue 15/32 brass into the cpvc so it comes out about a half of an inch.
Glue that whole assembly into the plunger tube.
put that in the ppk'd nf then close her up. it should look like this
then sand out the back of the 3k's turret so the 15/32 fits nicely in it, but can still be pulled out
Then find a hard straw that fits nicely over the metal rod that comes out of the back of the turret.
glue it here.
Now you are done, put the metal rod in the straw. and your good to go. mine looks like this.

Oh I forgot to say that i have a full bbb spring in it.No problem. This would be even better if you had a double nf to do this to and if you replaced thee spring and gave it a sweet paint job.

I have cushion on the plunger and used epoxy putty to reinforce the plunger tube.Really, how is that holding up? Also what are the ranges.
I really have no idea what the ranges are because i do not have a big tape measurer sp? but from 60 feet away from a fence im hitting it around the waist level. so probably around the low 60's.
First blood: I took apart the plunger rod from the plunger and put the spring in.
A side of nerf: for that all you would have to do is put a cpvc coupler on the nf and stick the turret in.

Would this work without the black part on the bottom of the orange part. I left the black part in the gun and did a barrel replacement, so now I just have the orange part. I am starting to seriously considering doing this. Thanks for the idea.

Yes just use the orange part without the air restrictors.
