I want to start painting my guns and i wanted to know what is the best type of paint to use on nerf guns? Any suggestions would be appreciated

I want to start painting my guns and i need to know what is the best type of paint to use on nerf guns?

If you had read around you would have seen that most people suggest vinyl dye. Others are just set on krylon.

1. Vinyl Dye
2. Krylon Fusion
3. Something with a Krylon fusion basecoat

For spraypaint, Krylon is a good price, but Warhammer 40k paint is good quality. The 40k paint is extremely overpriced but my friend insists on using it to base coat his figurines. He gave me the rest of a can he had and it gives a nice look to the gun.

For detail paints, I use acrylic paints. They come in a small tube and you can get them at A.C. Moore. Make sure you put some sort of base coat on your gun first before using the detail paints in large amounts. I usually base mine black.

I have no idea what you said in the first four sentences. My grammar is usually good and just to be sure I use Word to check it. Unfortunately my brother decided to change some words in auto-change. It also does not help that it is 1:30 in the morning. I am done with this. Good fucking night.

Anyways, for spray paint Vinyl Dye is the best as others have said, and I'll back up the Krylon Fusion too.

OfAll, where do you find Vinyl Dye?

I've looked at the local Autozone and Sears/Ace/etc, and not found any. Only the people at Autozone knew what it was, they just didn't carry any.

I guess you've seen some previous discussions about it since you knew to look at autozone, but you'll just have to check other auto parts stores like Advance Auto and other places like that.
