As some of you may know, Foam Universe has also started a NerfWiki at the appropriately named http://www.nerfwiki.org/. Maybe we could somehow merge the two wikis, or at least have some kind of collaberation.

Why don't they just get rid of that one and use the old Nerf wiki. It already has alot of information, and I just don't see the point in making another one. On a side note, Foam Universe looks like it is getting popular. I tried to register over there but they never e-mailed me my password.

There is no point in opening another NerfWiki. You say so you can have your own, but the Wiki that was started by NHQ is for EVERYONE, not just themselves. There is no need to have your own. All you are going to do is confuse people looking for the Wiki that has all the information. All you are doing is restating what has already been said in the Original NerfWiki.

Also, I gave permission to Captain Slug to use the pictures I produced from my own collection for the NerfWiki, not you. You need to remove the following pictures as I didn't give you permission to use my handiwork:

AirTech 4000
Arrowstorm
Blast-A-Ball
Blast-A-Matic
Bow N Arrow
Master Blaster
Missile Launcher
Missile Storm
NB-1 Missile Launcher
Rocket Air Launcher
Sharpshooter

Also, you should definitely remove the Slingshot and Zap Snaps pictures from your Wiki as they are from Orange's site. Not asking permission to use these pictures is going to get people pissed at you, starting with me and probably Orange.

Be original and come up with your own idea. Stop copying the NIC's NerfWiki (as it is for the entirety of the NIC and not just NHQ members) and do your own thing. We only need one.

Frankly I'm tired of seeing links to foam universe in people's signatures and people begging others to go there. I don't understand why foam universe exists in the first place other than as a place for people that got banned here to go and fuck around, and NHQ already fills that role quite nicely. Everything that gets posted on foam universe gets posted here, and old things that were already posted here get posted at foam universe months later even though everyone in the community has already seen them. I also don't like that the majority of people that frequent both foam universe and NerfHaven usually say things like "we need new members" and "pay a visit to foam universe, it's not that bad." Both of these are reason enough to never visit the site.

That's about all I wanted to say, sorry to be a dick, but I'm really sick of hearing about foam universe and their bad ideas.

Nerfmonkey, I believe that the purpose it served was to (originally) be a clansite for Megaman_92, called the Foam Fighters or something, and then it was changed to Foam Universe and people started joining. I like the site's chatbox, I think that's a good idea. Rarely do we get spammers, and if one of us has a problem while modding a gun, we get faster replies than making a new topic.
Also, have there been a lot of threads here about Foam Universe? I'm wondering because you said that you're sick of hearing about Foam Universe and their bad ideas, but I don't know if its just because I haven't been around long enough or if I missed them.

Didn't HQ a while back have a chat thing? That does seem like a decent idea, but not something to switch forums for. I also understand your reasoning with the clan site, we have the same thing.

Frankly, now I know why 99.9% of nerfers hate you NM. I can see why Monkey is in your name, because thats obviously the brain capacity that you possess. My point in making Foam Universe was to make a friendlier Nerf forum, that pompous MODs wont ban you for putting mustard of your sandwich. Nerfhaven is rough place, full some(not all) of meanest people I know. I know yinz will probably ban me for this, but then again, that would just enforce my point wouldn't it? I'm not known for flying off the handle about things, but I'm sick of people dissing on something that I and BJ have worked hard to make!

If you want to, go ahead ban me, and prove my point. I have ways of coming back. Many ways, in fact.

You didn't actually accomplish much, just stole some pics from Orange and badger and called it your own. You need to see the truth that Foam universe will NEVER be as big or have as many contributors as Nerf Haven. I'm not saying not to have it, just stop advertising it here. Get it on Google and some other search engines.

If you REALLY want a big successful forum, find something unique. The reason NH and NHQ are big is because they were around for a long time and were there from the start(well, kinda for NH)
