Guys, thanks for all the interest and your suggestions. I did some more checking and organizing this event is becoming a lot more involved than I thought (permits, etc.). I think early August is coming-up too soon for me to get things going, so I'll have to postpone things for now. Thanks for understanding...

I might be able to come but most likely not. I cant do anywhere from July 6-19 or from July 21 to 24 or any time from the 5 to the 23 of Aug.

If its not on any of those dates ill try to book a flight.

Im gonna need some more details.

Well it's most likely going to happen early july or around then. If you have a clan or friends who would like to come please invite them. I'm busy trying to get some more people. Just don't bring guns that could do serious damage to people. If you need some more info please feel free to contact me

Yeah i may be able to make this war if i can catch a train from elgin or a ride there. I dont know how a train would feel about four kids bringing modified nerf guns on board.

Sounds like fun. I might be able to come, seeing as I am only 45 minutes away from Chicago.. I will just have to figure out a mode of transportation.

Alright guys sounds good. Lets also think of some dates. And I came up with a great idea. We can have two different colored pieces of tape (red,blue,etc.) Each team starts out with one base a piece(areas of the park) and a few are open. Whoever occupies the most bases at the end of the round wins. You can steal other peoples bases too by ripping off their tape and putting your teams color on.

Don't bother wasting time on talking about what type of games you would like to play. It's pointless if we don't even get the war off the ground. We should be discussing more things such as when and where it is going to be.

Well what's the story? Where is it exactly, when is it? If you can't get this off the ground and pick a day, then I say that Ryan, Myself and the Wheaton crew set this up at Herrick Lake. BTW I will be out of town at the end of the month. Oddly about 15 miles from Armageddon, but I'm off in the days. Damn. Well lets set something up soon.

Ok, you seem to have done you planning so that is good, but I pose one question, Will the school let us on the grounds? Because I know some people who went on school grounds a couple weeks ago and got kicked off by the cops for filming movie. If they will the nerf on.

Edit- This just came to me, you should host a small nerf outing there to make sure they'll tolerate nerfing.
