Nano Recap

I have a set of keys that was left at the war location. No one who was still there claimed them, and no one recalls seeing the car they would've gone to. Obviously, the car couldn't have left the lot without them, so someone carpooling left the key, the clicker, a small pocketknife, and what looks like a pocketwatch chain on the table.
If you're reading this and you ARE on the forums, let me know in a PM and we'll work out a way to get it back to you.
If you're one of the members who came whose account is still pending validation, email me at foamfalcon@gmail.com, and we'll figure things out.
As for the war...it was awesome. Great turnout, and well hosted as always, Cheese. I'll recap after I've taken a nice long nap.

Excellent turnout, really was a total blast.
Too Many Photos to post on here but I'll share the best damn Group photos ever:
Gallery: http://photobucket.com/June_Nano_08
Highlights:
*"Hit, Barrel Tap, Barrel Tap, Hit"
* My pistol Tastic Domination in round one.
* The Vicious might of getting shot in the face by tony's Lbb (forgot what that was like)
* Not lasting more than three min in the second round (Chest shot by falcon, followed by two consecutive headshots from tony)
* Seeing The NANO exclusive Bombing Run Game go well (I was a Ref, But things worked out awesome)
* Tony's Lbb Parting New Guy Mike with one of the lenses of his glasses, and all the time we spent looking for it.
* Playing CTF to a draw.
* Getting Shot In The Tie.
* The 4 3-man Teams round, I swear, if Tony was feeling better, we would have totally won that.
* The Joy of a Cold IBC Root Beer at the Corner Bakery when we stopped for a restroom break on the way home.
Can't wait for YANO, and geddon this year is gonna be Effeminate.

Are most people who attended members here? The only people I recognize from previous war photos/seal of approval are bags and falcon.
Outside of Myself, Falcon, Apollo, Tony And The Effeminate-awesome Hubbard, most of the folks in those photos have really only been around in major SoCal Wars since 2008, and only the first three of us guys who've been doing this for a while are actually on the forums. But Yeah, we also Have Raw Shrimp(fifth up from the bottom), Cheese Boy(in the front), Axelion(ninth from the bottom), SoccerDog (2nd to last at the top)

That was Effeminatetastic.
Bags...deep down inside, whether Tony was feeling well or not, you're going to have to accept the fact that you were doomed that round...
Joking/comerade rivalry/bullshit aside, I have to say the highlight of my day yesterday was bringing my completed crossbow setup to a war, having darts that made sweet sweet love with it (courtesy of Bags), and not having any parts on it break. Sometime this week I'll be making my much put-off post to the Crossbow sticky, and then proceed to, as per Groove's suggestion, tuck it in and read it a bedtime story.
Perhaps "Franklin Goes to School"...
Okay, enough of that.
First timers: Welcome! You're all awesome!
Returning players: You guys continue to challenge everyone at these events, bringing in new faces constantly, and staying on top of your game. Believe me, nothing makes me happier overall than playing my best and still having a damned hard time winning, if not getting my ass kicked. Nerf gets boring without a challenge after so many years, but I am confident that Captain Slug and the old fart West Coasters are all in for a Geddon to remember (and lose a few pounds over.)
Hubbard: I love you. Keep coming back!
Bags: I have the camo dart bucket, and it is literally filled to the brim with darts. Which of course, makes me happy. The final dart sweep was VERY thorough, so we don't have to make as many darts for YANO or the Geddon warmup.
See y'all again real soon.

my highlights:
scoring hits with my SideArm (crocheted arm strap with autoGrip plunger and a new barrel)
scoring hits with my ArrowStorm (i think i just found my combo)
scoring hits on my brother countless times with my SideArm and he had a 2K
Leading and reffing the Bomb Run Game (which was awesome!!!)
The 21 Gun salute for Flag Day
Actually playing well (i'm finally growing into it! yaaaay~!)
Thank you all for showing up! it was an Effeminate and great day! i can't wait for Yano and Geddon! take a good look, there are 15 people in that picture!
