[Bullshit Dragon]

okay, so I went to have a nerfwar with some friends of mine today and when we were about to start I charged up my Magstrike and it fired three shots before something weird happened. It popped then there was this hissing noise. I thought, Probably nothing big, I'll just pump it back up. So I did and went to fire again, but it didn't even fire this time. It just hissed really loudly.

I can't post pics because my digital cam was eaten by a grue.

Please help.

My bet is that one of the hose connections came loose. It's fixable, but you'll have to open the gun up.

Either a connection blew off or a hose popped. Open it up, and if a connection blew off, reseal it on with plumber's goop after reattaching it.

(P.S.- it's spelled, "grue")

I've had similiar problems from my 3 magstrikes I've gone through. If you can locate the leak, seal it with a strong adhesive such as plumbers goop.

Problem solved. The tubing connecting the trigger to the firing piston had gotten loose. I cut off the damaged part (about 3/16") and put it back on with a little plumbers goop to ensure a good seal. Thanks to everyone that offered me help, especially Omega, who gave the correct spelling for Grue ^^

My guess is no because you need an airtight seal which is easier to obtain with a liquid sealant... such as epoxy, goop, etc.
