Hello, I am currently searching for a Dart tag baster 10 shot gun mod. Unfortunetly i have found.... none. I used the seach bar and everything even the modifications directory for a decent cpvc dtg mod. I managed to find 1 but the instructions are based on pictures fro ma few years ago , so the user removed them.

I hope to cause no trouble but i hope i can get a response fast because im going to TRU tomorrow.

It will be the usual mod; remove the turret housing, make sure you can cut straight, and then put a bunch of cpvc stubs onto the turret base. Use hot glue/epoxy putty/plumber's goop/epoxy (whatever glue you want to use) to mount the barrels. The length of the cpvc should depend on the darts you will be firing out of it; shorter the tighter the darts are, longer the looser they are. Saw off the barrel stubs on the turret base as you see fit.

Otherwise, I believe it might be easier to use brass; Generally with a little sanding you can just jam the barrels in with some hot glue into the stubs, and then sand the inside of the turret housing and slide it right over the brass. You end up with a lot more support that way.

The thread I'm assuming you referred to uses 3" barrels.

Whatever fits your darts best. I'm guessing either 9/16 or 17/32. One of those two tends to fit most of the stefans I've come across. Pick whichever one fits your darts better; you want the barrel to be slightly tight.

And do try to use proper capitalization. It's in the Code of Conduct.

You could also try Nerf HQ, if you don't know about it, or don't have an account on there. I saw a DTG mod on there not to long ago. Here is a Dart tag mod. It's just removing the AR's, but it will give you pics of the internals. I would reccomend CPVC as a barrel material, because it is easier to cut, cheaper, and I have had better success with it with spring guns than I have with brass/copper/steel.

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

17/32" brass fits perfectly into the stock turrets stubs (just take off the orange piece completely), only if it fits your darts though.

Might I add, if you are going to be using stock darts, CPVC or crayola is your best bet. I use stock darts mostly, (because I never go to wars, and my stefan-fu is mediocre) and when I have used brass or copper, I do not get very good results. Especially with spring guns. Brass is great for stefans though.
