[Noob Modder]

Thanks to the NerfHaven community for making me feel welcome here. You have been helpful, sometimes brutally honest, (but in a good way) and generally friendly.

A shout-out the mods/admins: You all are great. It takes a bunch of good people to keep such a great website running smoothly, and to punish people swiftly and thoroughly upon repeated infractions of the CoC (more than one. Hint,hint.)

A lot of forums I go to occasionally are dead. One forum hasn't been posted on by anyone but me since 2001.
But this one is running like a well oiled nerf gun (pun intended.)

After maybe a year or 2, I'll change my name to something that keeps the essence of what my name is, but doesn't include "Noob." I will, however, change my signature to include "Formerly known as Noob Modder"

Thanks all for the warm welcome, combined with the stern, helpful warnings.

I'm glad you are getting used to this place. Your first posts didn't make the greatest impressions, but you hopefully will be able to reclaim your rank here. By the way, you can't change your username. Such would require the making of another account, sure to get you unregistered faster than you can say, "You just got owned up the squonker by VACC."

Noob, I was worried about you at the start, but it looks like you're straightening up. Just remember to keep your head low, only post when have something truly important to say and be sure to proof read what you write.

On these boards post counts don't really matter, you will gain more respect with insightful information, asking appropriate questions in the right places, knowing when those questions should be pm's and not posted in threads and with time.

If you look at FA24, Captain and OfAllTheNerf they only have semi large post counts because they've contributed a lot, speak only when needed, and they've all been here a decent amount of time. I would take a note from any of them, as well as the way the mods act.

Hopefully you turn out pretty awesome and avoid the 9999 specials of Piney, OMC, Vacc and the crew.
