Ok, so ranges seem to be a tough area, with exaggeration and such. I've heard peoples primaries being anything from a NF to BBBB (when allowed). There is a rather large gap in ranges between those guns. I want to know the range of YOUR primary. If I ever get to a war, mine would probably be my BBB which gets about 95' flat. I really dont know what kind of ranges are adequate. Thanks

Yeah, primaries should go about 80-110 feet. Anything more is overkill, and is likely to be disallowed. Anything less and you're gonna be outranged. Mine gets about 100 flat.

My primary is my Big Salvo. Only thing been done is added PETG barrels. Gets about 95ft -100ft. I made this tight as videos of shooting my friend at point blank with 8 stefans all at the same time! Check it out:

My Crossbow, Jekkyl and Hyde, is and always will be my primary. The ranges depend on the dart. With a really good stefan the max I have ever gotten was 145'. I swear to god, 145'. I usually get around 120' with average darts, though.

EDIT: Actually, the reason my ranges are so high is because of broiling hot Texas summer weather. The temperatures get past 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and when its that hot, my gray darts swell up and fit very snug in the PETG, which gives me the range increase. In cooler weather, I get 90'-100', consistently.

SM3k. 80ft. I swear it could get more with a better mod. This is the yellow tank version, which shoots 50ft stock! (I had an old larami dart and I tested it)
Sometimes I will use my Supertoothmax (writeup coming) but only for indoors.

My Primary is a BBB, people who saw it at DCNO (Ompa mainly) can vouch for it hitting the 100+ mark, since the only guns getting similar ranges to me were LBB's and +bows

+Bow, gets 100+ easily. Should be more consistent now that I've switched to the barrel I should have been using.

I really dont know what kind of ranges are adequate.

Depends on the venue and how you play.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

My AT2k with CPVC/PETG breech gets around 80-70ft, but it also depends on the darts. There were definetly other guns that outranged me, but I wasn't at a huge disadvantage either.

My xbow gets around 130 with a good dart. The underslung sf gets around 50-70, depending on dart (dam crayolas...)

Don't want to shove balls in tight spaces. Trust me, bad idea.

I use my longshot 70 feet, my hornet 80 feet or one of my nf's that go 70 feet.

You silly people and your ridiculous ranges. I use a quadded 2k that gets about 70-75' flat and it's all I need. Sometimes an NF that gets about 50' as a sidearm but I rarely use it.

Christ. I was wondering. To say that 90% of people can hit from 100+ feet away is kinda crazy. I'm still working on my gun, but if everything goes right I'm looking at about 80' consistently..

Monkey, i like the long range for those random awesome shots (Like nailing ompa from half the field away at DCNO)

But mainly, since it hits upwards of 100', the dart speed in shorter range shots is much higher, and harder to avoid, especially in the 60-70' range, once my integrations are done, it will be a mid-range beast

LS:80-85 feet
MS: 60 feet

I love the longshot because it has nice rof and range.

I love the Magstrike cause I can just charge in and not miss.

I'll say that my Crossbow (which I can't seem to do well without) gets 80' CONSISTENTLY. I know we've all gotten the 130' shots, right...

Micros go about 10' further (consistently), but I've switched to megas.

My old BBB got 80' consistently, and on a really good day 90' consistantly. But now it's dead. I'll give you all some advice; never leave some weird 6 year old relative that you've never met with your opened Big Bad Bow and some needle nose pliers alone. Very ugly stuff happens.

My other old primary (which is also dead, but not by the hands of some weird 6 year old relative that I've never met. It got the infamous "Clips don't advance anymore" problem) got about 44'. It was a Magstrike.

But my current primary... is non existent... I need a new one. It gets the average range of a non existent primary...

I'd say with my Lbb (when allowed) i can hit people at about 85'-90' fairly accurately, when it's disallowed I use my AT2K which can hit 80' accurately with the right barrel.

My Pump ShoptGun gets an average of 90'. My NF CrossBow gets similar ranges to my PumpShot gun.
