Do you think i should saw off the BBB scope? It's inaccurate, adds weight, but is and looks cool.

I generally saw off all ornamental stuff that Nerf throws on their guns, and I saw off front handles/unnecessary scopes and attachments (unless they look cool), just to make the guns lighter.
I have a ls (which has sprung a leak :( ) that can effectively be used as a one-handed weapon and a bbb, and I used to have a firefly (I broke it)

For those of you with BBBs who like to whoop folks hard with the arrows: take a scissors and cut around the tip, going inwards, so it looks like a sharpened pencil, but more retarded. It makes the arrows more aerodynamic, and probably makes them go 5-10 feet further (untested). Beware, though: if you cut unevenly around it, it'll fly retarded, and may/will bank to one direction or another (bad.)

Cut the scope. Your correct about what you said. Ls cant leak. They are springers. Your sentence structure is piss poor. Fix it before a mod fixes you with a 9999 day special.

PS: Sorry to be so negative.

If you replace ANYTHING inside the BBB, leave the extra crap on it, it adds support

The arrow idea is bad, even though it's foam, it can still be rather painful

Don't want to shove balls in tight spaces. Trust me, bad idea.

For sale: Vintage WWII French rifles. Dropped once, never fired.

Dude, you just made 3 topics about the same thing within 10 minutes. Slow down, think about what you want in your topic before you just start throwing them out there.
1. For your BBB barrel, do the Big Bad Sexy to it, it has better a better seal and airflow and it has less dead space than the average BBB mod.
2. For the shotgun BBB, the only one I've seen is Nerfturtle's Crack-down BBB. It's wicked.
3. Cut off whatever you like. This is all opinionated. Some people love the look of the BBB when the front handle is cut off. I'm not a fan of the look of it, and it makes it harder to cock, but some people like it.

The arrow idea wont do anything because the arrow is going so slow in the first place. Like P.C. III said the sight really doesn't add any weight. Try to leave out the plz post on your title.

EDIT: Heh, sorry for back seat moderating being such a new member.

The enrichment center reminds you that the weighted companion cube cannot speak. In the event that it does speak, we urge you to disregard it's advice.

I'm watching you.

As has been said many times before, fix your posts; grammar and punctuation is called for by the CoC.

And try to combine your topics next time, don't ask a single question in each thread.

The arrow-sharpening does, in fact add range. I tested the AR-removed BBB and it went 31 feet, average. (From my kitchen, down the hall, to the base of the front door.) I sharpened the arrows, did an unofficial test, and it hit the front door dead center, firing from my kitchen. My guess is that, once I test it, it will go somewhere between 35 and 40 feet.
I have edited my posts to fix grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.
And will continue to write right (alliteration :) )

I like the scope on the BBB. I feel that it is actually accurate-ish. I stuck some wire through the front section of the scope (the one where the arrows are held on) and now all I have to do is line up the target with the middle of the wire and it works great.

Too late. I chopped/hacked off the scope, and I don't regret it. All it was doing was adding weight and confusing me. Now my BBB is a wee bit lighter, and not as confusing.
