Longshot Help

O.K. I put a night finder spring in my longshot and streched the longshot spring. I fired it once and now it wont cock. It seems like it isn't reaching the trigger plate. Any Help Please!!

Take it back apart and make sure everything is in the right place.

This happened to me and I took mine apart and everything looked fine but then I noticed that the bolt sled was broken. I just hotglued it for a temporary fix but I would suggest some brass plating to stabilize it.

Thats going to cause a lot of headaches in the future, definitely reinforce it soon.This happened to me and I took mine apart and everything looked fine but then I noticed that the bolt sled was broken. I just hotglued it for a temporary fix but I would suggest some brass plating to stabilize it.

I had the same thing happen to one of mine. If you aren't planning on modding it anymore, JB Weld that part on. Otherwise, use hot glue. I used hot glue on mine, but I put it on before the part with the screws broke again.
