Longshot Help

O.K. I put a night finder spring in my longshot and streched the longshot spring. I fired it once and now it wont cock. It seems like it isn't reaching the trigger plate. Any Help Please!! :angry:

Take it back apart and make sure everything is in the right place.

This happened to me and I took mine apart and everything looked fine but then I noticed that the bolt sled was broken. I just hotglued it for a temporary fix but I would suggest some brass plating to stabilize it.

Thats going to cause a lot of headaches in the future, definitely reinforce it soon.

The back that holds in the spring with 2 screws is broken .

I had the same thing happen to one of mine. If you aren't planning on modding it anymore, JB Weld that part on. Otherwise, use hot glue. I used hot glue on mine, but I put it on before the part with the screws broke again.
