Can some one tell me if a Blastfire pump creates a tight seal in a SM5k plunger tube (dunno the name).

From memory, I'd guess that it doesn't.
You wouldn't want to do it anyhow since the sm5k pump tube is very weak and tends to develop hairline cracks. I replaced my 5k pump in it's entirety with the one from my sm1500.

thanks, now ill just take one of my 1500's pumps and ut it in the 5k
