I originally just posted general information about this gun, But I decided to turn it into a write up.
Here is the official write up.
Materials
- 1in.PVC (SCH 40)
- 1/2in. PVC (SCH 40)
- 1/2in PVC (SCH 20)
- 1/2in. CPVC
- Dowel Rod*
- Spring*
- 1/2in. CPVC T Coupler
- 1/2in. PVC x-coupler
- 1in. PVC end cap
- 1/2in. PVC end cap
Step 1:
![Posted Image](http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk193/Nerfcraft/LID%20writeup/DSC02148.jpg)
Cut the 1in. PVC to about 9 1/2 in.
Step 2:
![Posted Image](http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk193/Nerfcraft/LID%20writeup/DSC02152.jpg)
Drill a hole through the 1in. PVC end cap big enough for the dowel rod to fit through but not the spring.
Step 3:
![Posted Image](http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk193/Nerfcraft/LID%20writeup/DSC02153.jpg)
The Plunger is a stick of 1/2in. SCH 40 PVC with a 1/2in. PVC endcap on it. The endcap is sanded down untill it fits in 1in. PVC. Then you sand a groove in the endcap for an o-ring.
Step 4:
![Posted Image](http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk193/Nerfcraft/LID%20writeup/DSC02155.jpg)
Attach the dowel rod to a 1/in PVC or CPVC T-coupler.
Step 5:
![Posted Image](http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk193/Nerfcraft/LID%20writeup/DSC02156.jpg)
Slide the 1in. PVC end cap over the the dowel then slide the spring over it.
Step 6:
![Posted Image](http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk193/Nerfcraft/LID%20writeup/DSC02157.jpg)
Attach the plunger to the end of the dowel.
![Posted Image](http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk193/Nerfcraft/LID%20writeup/DSC02158.jpg)
My plunger is attached by drilling a hole through the plunger rod and dowel, then sliding a pin through.
Step 7:
![Posted Image](http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk193/Nerfcraft/LID%20writeup/DSC02150.jpg)
The barrel is somewhat tricky, wrapa piece of 1/2in. CPVC in electrical tape until it is airtight inside 1/2in. SCH 20 PVC. Then. wrap the the piece of 1/in. SCH 20 PVC in electrical tape until it fits airtight in the 1in PVC shell. Then slide it into the shell until the 1/2in. SCH 20 PVC is flush with the end of the 1in. Shell.
Step 8:
![Posted Image](http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk193/Nerfcraft/LID%20writeup/DSC02161.jpg)
Cut off the top of the x-coupler, (this is where the barrel sticks out). Fasten the opposite end to the 1in.PVC with hot glue.
Step 9:
![Posted Image](http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk193/Nerfcraft/LID%20writeup/DSC02162.jpg)
Now attach a PVC handle to one of the couplers.
Step 10:
![Posted Image](http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk193/Nerfcraft/NerfDiagram-2-1-1.jpg)
This handle is two pieces of 1/2in. PVC cut at an angle to fit onto the gun. They are attached by two bolts, and fastened to the gun with Liquid Nails and E-Tape.
Step 10:

The trigger is just a basic clothespin trigger, the writeup for that can be found Here

FINISHED!
