MNNO was my last war for at least two years. I am shipping to BCT(Basic Combat Training) on June 10th, maybe sooner. I enjoyed every precious second I had to spend with the fine gentlemen (and lady) that attended 2MNSBW and MNNO, and hopefully, when and if I come back, I'll still have the honor to battle amongst some of the most creative and genius minds of this fine community.

On the bright side, I will stay on nerfhaven for as long as possible.

I shall retire my arsenal in a safe place until I return.

I put money down on you going into military service. You seem like the type. Proud to nerf along side you.

At first it was awkward as you were shouting out orders, but you knew what you were doing and I salute you.

Great person to have at a war, so sad you can't come to SPANO, but thats how it is. Anyway, to everyone else who hasn't gotten the privilage to nerf with him, I say to you, he knew which end of the multiple Longshots he carried to hold.

Thank you for putting your life on hold to protect and serve America. I completely and utterly respect soldiers.

On a crazy note: Think that they will let you put 2 m16/m4's together?

Oh by the way good luck, I think you'll need it.

Here's hoping you have to dodge more darts than bullets.

May your Commander in Chief provide a vision worth following.

I really respect you, I wanted to join the army, but I cannot due to a heart condition (even if I sign all the paperwork and waivers). Still I applaud you, and I really hope for your safe journey and please make as much effort as you can to solve things peacfully (oh, and B-Slap some terrorists for me).

In all seriousness I think that being in the army is probably the most respectful thing one can do on these boards, dude in my eyes VACC isn't even as respectable enough as you are now.

"On a crazy note: Think that they will let you put 2 m16/m4's together?"

:D I'd rather dual-wield AK's personally, they're more reliable.

edit: and don't call me sir, i work for a living. but i'll gladly return the salute.

In 2 years, I'll gladly, and legally, buy you a drink. As far as the girls, just walk in to any bar during some event in your dress uniform. That usually works in Philly at least.

In all seriousness, stay safe out there. Hopefully our next president won't start unnecessary wars.

Toilet paper is for your ass, not your nerf gun.
Try craft foam if you want to add cushioning to the handle.

I'm currently going to college/med school to be a Marine doc.
So if the war is still going on in 6 years and you get injured, you might see me.
But hopefully not.

I've considered joining the service, but not the Army or Marines(the marines are the bullet-catchers). Our Marine Resources class recently took a trip to Woods Hole in Falmouth, and we went to the Coastguard station. Since then I've been considering joining the Navy or Coastguard. There is an entrance exam for the Service, I'm pretty sure you need a 20 to be in the military, a 65 to be in the Coastguard, and an 75 to be in the navy. Our class took it and i scored a 94. The mechanics section killed me..

dude, marines are awesome. sure, they catch bullets, but they throw twice as many. they're the first to fight because they are the best of the best.

Good luck to you. My dad was a reservist in the canadian army, but this was in the 70s, so no fighting. Stay strong over there. I heard people get pretty whacked from seeing all the madness over there.

Good luck Messiah! I think all of the nerfing you did has helped prepare you for actual combat (including getting shot in the balls). I will make a Yahoo instant messenger account soon, so you can send me the video. If you make it back in one piece, it would be awesome if you attended some more nerf wars. You would be both a veteran of nerf and real wars.
