By God, if you haven't seen this movie yet, you HAVE, I repeat have to go see it. The best Marvel movie, and Tony Starks a total badass. I can't wait for The Avengers, if that is the title of the next movie. Stay till after the credits. Anyone else's thoughts on the movie?

I thought the movie pretty awesome.

Surprisingly most of the content was scientifically accurate, but some parts were a little goofy.

But a guy flying around in an gold Titanium alloy suit made up for it all :P

There is a sequel coming out? cool.

I didn't stay tiil the end of the credits, PM me about what happened.

Yeah, it was cool. I believe an entire trilogy is planned.

The Avengers isn't a sequel (though a sequel IS planned), its a movie about a team of super heroes, like The Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Ant Man, and Wasp. Everyone but Wasp is having a movie made out of them in the next few years. Nick Fury too!

There was two fight scenes, two. It was more of just telling people what was going to happen in the next movie, like a pre-quel-ish thing.

(SPOILER)
More than two.
1. First creating the suit, the huge ordeal when leaving the cave
2. Finding and stopping a Jericho, the first time he uses his new suit in action
3. Shaking off the Fighters could be considered a fight scene
4. Fighting the guy at the end

It wasn't a prequel, it didn't take place after pre-existing work, nor did it implicate that it was in the past.

What about Hawkeye? And if all those movies come out I'm not seeing any of them, because frankly Ant/Giant Man sucks balls... so does Thor... and Captain America needs to get with the times...

The movie was awesome, and I can't wait until War Machine comes into the next one, thats probably what its going to be about. Because Stark lets him use the suit, then he wont give it up, and they have a conflict.

And also, were they at any time planning to make a movie about The Flash? I like him.

The jets scene was part of the Jericho part wasn't it? Anyway, I'm not saying it was bad, but it was kind of just trying to point out what they were going to do in the future.

I saw it, and it was bloody awesome. I wouldn't say that it is the best marvel movie because I think I probably like Spider-man 2 better, but Iron Man is a close second. I just wish I could find some way to get one of those suits for myself....

Hawkeye was not in the original avengers, though i PRAY they include him in the movie. And as for The Flash, there might be a movie, might not be. Someone bought the rights, but they may just sit on it so no one else can make a movie.

I don't know if anyone of you has actually seen all pictures on the Iron Man Movie Homepage, but this struck me as interesting:

That scene must have fallen under the cut.

I haven't seen it, but does the magstrike or a similar gun appear in the movie at all? The Iron Man magstrike says "you can be just like Iron Man in the movie." Ive also heard rumors about an Iron Man FF. Anything like that?

Nope. There are no nerf blasters of any kind in the film. Not that I noticed, anyway.

I think they have the Iron man FF's in Australia. I know I saw an Aussie nerfer (QuannyG, maybe?) post about re-colored FF's. I think he said they were red and black though. But nope, I have'nt seen them. The Iron man MS's came out at my Target on the 2nd, the day it came out.

... and Captain America needs to get with the times...

You've obviously never seen Captain Canuck. He's basically a Canadian Captain America. It's funny because in the story, it takes place in the "future" of 1993 (It was made in the 70's) and Canada is the most powerful country in the world. Like THAT would ever happen.

Hahahaha. I have to say that that is the funniest thing ever. I can't believe there is a hero named Captain Canuck. Priceless.

Iron Man was pretty great. I had been anticipating it since the comic-con trailer got leaked on to the Internet. I also played a lot of Marvel Ultimate Alliance, so I found the whole SHEILD and Nick Fury stuff interesting. It was definitely better then Spiderman 3 (the only reason I bothered seeing it was, venom, the best super character ever is in it).

I thought it was probably the second or third best superhero movie I've seen, behind Batman Begins.

Who ever said that this was scientifically accurate needs to be checked out by a doctor. He's wearing a fighter jet.

I saw it on opening night.

WHAT NOW, WENCHES?

I thought it was friggin' amazing, maybe behind Batman Begins (maybe), but otherwise the damn skippiest movie I've seen in a long, long time.

I hate sitting in movie theaters. I just don't like it. Very few movies can make me actually go to the theater. For this one, I caught the 10:00 PM showing. I'm a total Marvel nerd, and I love this movie to death. I'm probably going to see it again this weekend, IT'S THAT GOOD.

If yall will excuse me, I'm going to go watch it on surfthechannel now.

Hey don't mess with us canucks. You probably think we are stupid weak eskimos, but once your economy collapses, you have no oil and have more wars than people who can fight them, we will be laughing our asses off. I really hope who ever wins the next presidential election will save you guys this fate, as you are a really great country who really deserve better. Im sorry if I sounded really anti American, but this is the second thing today that I have seen that has made me want to defend my country. Anyway ON TOPIC: I plan to see Iron Man this weekend. It looks sick, and I really want the IM magstrike.

Let me take a guess at how it ends:IRON MAN WINS. Anyway I HAVE TO see this movie. Iron man owns. However, i think he is about as much a super hero as Batman.
Batman has no super powers, he just has a fast car and a utility belt...
