Alright, before I started nerfing, I enjoyed making rubberband guns. These were not your average single-shot rubber band guns, no. These were heavy gatling gun turrets and automatic pistols. I have pictures, so take a look!

This is my automatic pistol. It shoots rather slowly but holds 25 rubber bands. Is a kickass sidearm.

My old rubberband primary. Holds 60 bands and fires crazy fast using a gatling type system.

A remake of my old primary. Holds 60 bands, fires faster, is lighter and smaller, and is my current band-war primary.
Hope you enjoyed!

Band-war?

Yeah, I know. Dorkier than nerf, it's rubber band warfare!
My friends and I nerf and have rubber band wars.

My friend made some RBG's, I'll ask him for some pictures and I'll post them here.

Um... how do those work? That "Automatic pistol" looks like two pieces of wood which a notch in the front. Hardly anything special...

I am very eager to find out how these work aswell. They look interesting and I think its possible to transfer this into ner, like some sort of trap(if the string is the trigger then your could hook it up as a trip wire sort of thing-an auto nerf mine-thats pretty kool). Can you post up a site or guide to make one of these and Il experiment with nerf style blasters this way.

Everyone seems to be asking how these work. All of these are full auto. There are one (on the pistol) or more (twelve on each gatling gun) barrels for each. Basicaly the string is put on top of the next barrel to fire, and a rubber band is stretched over the barrel. The string is then put over the next barrel, and another band is put on this barrel. To fire, the string is pulled. The faster that the string is pulled, the faster the gun will shoot. The pistol works the same way, except that its barrels don't spin to put the firing one on top because it only has one stationary barrel. The string is wrapped around the barrel at the back and a band is stretched over. This is repeated until the gun is fully loaded.

I used to have these blue 6 shot rubber band guns. I later traded them to my friend in exchange for nerf guns. They didn't shoot very far or accurately, but they hurt pretty bad.

I made a wooden M16 that held 8 (i think) bands, but the handle fell off. Each band had a notch it sat in, and you could ether thumb each one off, or pull a string for full otto rubbery death to all within 20'.

Don't want to shove balls in tight spaces. Trust me, bad idea.

For sale: Vintage WWII French rifles. Dropped once, never fired.
