Ive got a big problemo, and I was searching, and Pm ing people who I know have modded sawtooths. No replies, no search results. I want to open up my sawtooth to clean it (its really dusty). I have been unable to do this, because I am unable to get the cocking bar off. It has these plastic teeth that hold on to the metal rod.
How did anyone who has ever opened it managed to do so?
Thanks

Well I cant really answer your question since I have never modded a sawtooth, but why would you have to open it just to clean some dust off of it?

The chances of one person taking a bomb on a plane are one in a million. The chances of two people taking a bomb on a plane are one in a trillion. So if you're scared of a terrorist attack, bring a bomb on a plane.

It's so dusty that when I shoot it, dust comes out the plunger tube.

I bought it from OMC, like 4 days ago. Im NOT trying to criticize him, I don't blame him, as he had no clips for it. I just want to clean it up a bit, but can't clean it due to me not being able to get it open.

I would use a claw hammer, it is used to remove stock LS bolts and I imagine it would be quite effective for this as well.

When speaking about a swallow, always make sure you know whether it is an African or European swallow. It is very important.

I bought one (a sawtooth) from poo a while back, and asked him how to get it off. The best way to do so is get a flathead screwdriver and bend two of the three tabs inside the metal rod in the orange handles. There have also been a few topics about this. Like this one and this one.

It's a distinct possibility. But seriously, that's all you could come up with? You are a terrible Troll.
