Now that I've made an M16, I have a hunger for more.

I think that if you minimize the LS like this


and kept only they bi pod legs on

and added the LS front gun barrel extension like this

I was thinking about something like that last night. I know everyone scoffs at a nerf asshole rifle, bu tI still think the barret-type ones are cool. but I was thinking something more along the lines of Boltsniper's FAR. The only thing is to justify such a long barrel, a huge valve/plunger would need to be applied. Hell, maybe working out something to improve the accuracy might help too.

Let me attest that this decreases range, especially without a spring addition.
With a 3B added however, I was getting around 60' consistently.
I have since done this to it.

Accuracy went through the roof.

I don't get it, What did you even do? it looks nothing like the m16 or Barret. What are you some delusional 14 year old kid? If anything a stock longshot looks more like a Barret than what you did.

No it will not look like a .50 CAL. Some kid posted something like this a while ago with a picture of a .50 cal right next to his LS, and you would have to be smoking crack to say they look alike.

If you had read the first post, you would have seen that xNFx 37 didn't do anything in those pictures, but he used FA_24's and one of my own.
I didn't mod my LS to look like a .50 cal.
Nor do I want to.
I just swapped barrels because I thought it looked cool.
Also, since then, as noted by my other post, i shortened the barrel because the accuracy sucked with such a long barrel.
xNFx 37, how bout trying it then snapping a pic and show us what it looks like?

EDIT- I did what Squilt drew, but the scope doesn't look as low as you drew it.

Well, here it is. Doesn't look like much right now. I have more close up pics. Should I add anything else? You guys have no idea how much paint changes the appearance of something. I originally thought my M16 would suck. After I painted it I was really excited. So, anyway.






If anyone wanted to go as far as cutting the clip reciever diagonally, it would very closely resemble it. I think the paint, and the clip/clip reciever is what's holding this thing back.

Not quite a replica, but it doesn't look that bad either. Kudos to you. A nice paintjob would make that thing look pretty sexy.

Perhaps you should get a better (cooler looking) scope for it although I'm not sure if your LS has the ranges to match the scope, but it's just for cosmetics.

to Ccapogreca: I personally don't care for replicas, but some people like to go for Nerf replicas of weapons, don't put them down so hard

Instead of cutting it, why don't you double it up and cut part of the bottom one off?
