but didn't the Horsemen do this YEARS ago putting LnL's on Xbows?

About 2 posts ago. Isn't that an intergration? LNLs are more rapid fire than an Xbow.

The Lock 'n Load is a single fire pistol, not a rapid fire blaster. Here is the link from the NerfWiki to educate yourself further. Also if you are going to put words into someone's mouth, make sure you know what the fuck you are talking about first. Better yet, just don't. It is probably safer that way.

Actually their about the same...
Also, try integrating a longshot onto a crossbow. Have fun with that...
What I'm really planing for myself is two small peices of metal on my back, one for my SM500, and one for a National Geographic gun, and just always have my maxshot.

Sorry about that, though a LNL would be less time to reload because its a pistol. Whoops, wont happen again.

This gives me the idea to stuff a sheet of metal in my pocket and stick my side arm to the side of my pants.

If y'all are interested in attaching a long-range gun to a rapid-fire gun, I'd like to direct you to Foamslinger (which is in my signature).

As much I want to like that idea, I'm going to have to stick to my holsters and my custom/ghetto duct tape tactical vest. That's all I need to carry my weapons/ammo/gear around in, but I guess if you could possibly make the thing fool-proof and sleeker, it wouldn't be a bad idea. I'll give you points for creativity.

I have a wonderful mental image of Neo coming into the lobby and pulling out an endless series of magstrikes thanks to this thread. Seriously- four pre-pumped magstrikes on the back and one in each hand would make for a ridiculous foamstorm. Ridiculous in several ways.

I put 1"X1" steel squares on the inner panel of a DTG vest, doesn't hinder at all, with neodmium magnets, works like a charm. A tad heavy though.

Green, LOL that'd be hilarious.

While you did have something reasonably interesting to add to the topic, you're about five months late to the party. Be careful about necroing old topics; Just make sure that the thing you add is significant enough to justify the necropost.

I personally keep my At2k in a nylon power tool holster. I got mine at ACE for about five bucks. There is room to add magnets for additional crap. I might also make a belt that has a similar effect.

I plan on doing something similar to this, save with Rare Earth Neodymium magnets.

Place 2-3 of the D-601 magnets offered on K&J Magnetics in the LS, using hot glue or duck tape to secure them. (Inside, preferably on the screw-hole side.) Then, use basically the same thing you did for the backpack.

Repeat with Recon, and create plate for side of leg for sidearms.

???

PROFIT! :D

If I only had the Lancer LS, I could go Gears. :)

Yeah that should work.
The longshot is a little annoying for placement, you either need to make risers for the magnets on the side, or have it attach on the rail. I would recomend the first option.

Well, my plan involves them being inside the rifle. This complicates matters, slightly. However, my plan keeps the bolt at shoulder or higher level. The main problem I'm having is doing up my Magstrike and getting the Recon to work with slider blocking half of it, and all. I, unfortunately, don't have any images for proof of concept, but...

I hope that you two realize that the last post in this topic (before SchizophrenicMC) was from October 24th, last year. Also note that the post itself is an apology for a necro by nerfnut.

Please read the Code of Conduct.

Looking back at your plan, am I right in thinking that you are suggesting a longshot be held on by rare earth magnets at shoulder level? I would think that the amount of jostling that it would receive is ridiculous at that height, and the longshot isn't one of the lightest or smallest guns to be carrying. So far as I know, most people just use a strap.

I hope that you realise that they were adding substansial information relating to the thread itself, brainstorming for better ideas. Perhaps you should re-read the CoC, or perhaps read it for the first time.

Anyways, why don't you just use a fucking bear trap and attach your guns to your back that way? I mean, much quicker and easier than these shit magnets...

I don't necro for no reason. I was adding my piece to the Nerf Warrior System... This way, you don't have to dismantle a hard drive.

Also, with 7 pounds of pull force, each, and the Longshot's bolt holding it over my shoulder, 2-3 should prevent a lot of jostle-dropping.

Bear Trap? Huh?

I think the plan here is to go with something similar to Gears of War and Halo's weapon storage. (This is the most modern version I can think of, but the idea goes back farther.)

Yes, a bear trap. Heck it might be a bit hard to rip your gun off of your back when you need it, but at least it stays there while you're running.

Well you can always attach it GoW / Halo style with a bear trap...

I can take a picture if you're confused...

Here at NerfHaven, we don't really bother with conceptual brainstorming bullshit. Or retards...especially retards. You can start a separate thread for your Nerf Warrior System when you've completed it using your rare earth magnets and bear traps so we can publically mock and humiliate you.
