Cutting Down A Ls

I lost the barrel to my LS and without the skills needed to breech it I was thinking of just cutting it down to right before the barrel. Has anyone else done this? What happened to ranges and stuff like that? If it doesn't work I could always just get a recon.

Wait, so are you talking about the stock barrel? You don't need it, the more there is, the worse the range will be. If you want to minimize it by cutting off the front, then go ahead. It's been done before and it will not negatively affect range.

Don't do it. Ranges suck. Jst wait a year or so until you develop the skill. Don't worry, it'll come.

You can cut it down. It is called a carbine mod. Look here.

I tried cutting it down and it added about 10-15 ft to the range. Yay!
