Ok i am new to dartshmithing and need to know hw to make stefans. I have looked and found culk saver and have baught it but i need to know how to make the stefans. I have seen many ways to do it and want to know the best ways to get the best preformance. I have a hot glue gun, bbs and as i said culk saver. Thanks in advance.

This helps quite a bit too. At least make more of an effort to fix your spelling/capitalization. You've got it partially down, but the Code of Conduct requires a bit more.

There are a lot of ways to make stefans; some people use the caulk-saver like you are using, some use stock micros and then just rip off the heads and add their bb's/slingshot weights. The stock micro conversion is the more expensive, but in my opinion it gets better results, unless you're very good at making stefans from scratch.

I personally just have a piece of pvc that is slit at a certain length, with a bunch of washers at the end of it. I just put in my piece of foam, use the washers as a guide to center the hole where the weight goes, and then use the slit to cut the dart to size. Hence, all of my stefans are of very similar size.

This is also very helpful. It's a youtube video, so I thought it would be more helpful tot you than just telling you how. This is Captain Slug's method of making darts, and he makes them with felt tips, so they also don't sting as much as a stadard dart with a hot glue dome would. But ompa, that sounds like an ingenious way to make stefans. Mine suck, because I find the center, but I can't poke a hole straight, it always turns to the inside of the foam, which results in innacuracy. Plus, mine only get about the same distance as a stock dart. (?) I hope I helped.
