Well, being the Battlefield series freak I am (see thread Battlefield 2142) I am totally pumped about the next game in the franchise, Bad company. I just wanted to see what others think about this game, and if anyone has the beta, please do share!

Dude, if you love Battlefield 2, you're gonna CRAVE BFBC. Its so fucken cool how the enviornments are like 95% destructable! I found out about it surfing the web.

Bod Company can wait for me. I am much more jazzed for the release of the free 4 play version of battlefield, Battlefield Heroes. I cant wait. TF2 style graphics, awesome looking visuals, free, sounds good to me.

Yeah, that game looks pretty fun. It is so cartoonish, you can ride on the wings of planes ha ha.

Yeah. It just looks fun. Thats why I like it, kinda why I like Gmod too

If you ask me the battlefield series went plummeting down to the ground ass-end first after about the first patch for battlefield 2. EA butt diddled the hole thing and didn't even have a well-polished product in the hands of gamers when they released 2142. Needless to say the rest will be ass.

One of the lamest things about it is that EA is charging extra for "special" guns that already exist in the game code, but you have to pay to unlock. I hate that kind of shit.

Anyway, I played the multiplayer beta and I really wasn't impressed. It sort of seems like a run of the mill shooter with some destructible environments. Even the destructible environments aren't that impressive- You can't blow up the floor of a second story building, etc etc.

The whole thing feels rather "meh"
