Here she is: (sideways ftl)

I took the Idea of mounting a razorbeast from starbuck, and this is what I got.

For the internal mods, first I streached the spring, then I drilled a much bigger hole on the end of the plunger tube and on the chains, and I converted the x-bow style plunger head to a maxshot style plunger head(think doomsayer). I then cpvcd the chains, attached a weight to one end of the chain to stop jamming, and lubed everything. Wallah!

When I fire 10 taggers they land between 55-75 ft.

I could probably get 80 with stefens.

Video of it firing against my garage door(srry its kinda dark)

Questions? Comments?

Also I'm trying to get my hands on some more chains, if you have them, sell them to me. =D

It's a distinct possibility. But seriously, that's all you could come up with? You are a terrible Troll.

Thats wicked! I love it when people post nerf videos with a purpose. I can see its got some power to it and I can beleive it is getting around the ranges you say. Good work.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Thanks, I may or may not be doing a write-up because that thing is a bitch to open and close.

Thats pretty good. If you paint it black it will look like a mounted turret.

It certainly lives up to it's name! If I may make a suggestion, It would certainly benefit from some kind of box to hold the chain (A la the vulcan). Also, I must warn you that the ranges will drop slightly as the spring "settles in" or returns to it's original size. But all of that aside, it looks like its lots of fun.

I just finished modding it last night, I will eventually paint it.

I forgot to metion, the gun is bolted to the tripod and can be rotated in any direction. Also I don't have enough chains yet for a box of any kind to have a point.

Do you plan on using that at any wars? I would really love to see someone use that in a tactical situation (not being sarcastic.).

That is really cool looking.

By the way streching the spring will damage the spring.
At first you will get better ranges, but the spring will return
to its original shape after abit, and be weak than before

I don't believe that that is always the case. On my Longshot, I streched the spring quite a bit, and now, a year later, it still has a noticable difference than other longshots modded the same way. Plus, when I opened it up a year after I streched the spring, the spring was still streched out well. So I believe that you can strech it to a certain point. Or else its just the newer springs. But no matter how you strech it, after a while you will still have a bit of range loss.

Streaching a spring will never make it weaker then before, it probably wont even return to it's origanal strength let alone less than it.

Oh, and I will probably be posting a write-up tommorow. (I spent the last 3 hrs on it)

I like it! Nice job, although you might want to replace the spring with an only slightly stronger one so you don't have to worry about shrinkage of the old one.

This is just pure genius. It's definately one of the most practical nerf turrets I've seen in a long time, not like there are many.
