Well apparently my Mom owes me $30 and I'm going to spend it on Nerf. So I thought I would either get 3 spiderman sets or a DTG set( I know this isn't 30 dollars but I would be willing to spend $10 more) or should I get something else entirely? I'm probably going to integrate whichever one I get into my LS.

Get three SMDTG sets, 9 guns on the bottom of your LS.

Well, if you need small guns that fit anywhere, go for the spider-man sets. But if you want sustained fire, a DTG/Longshot integration would be effective. I really can't help you, you have to decide which one you need.

the spiderman set is so cheap right now it's simply the best value of the two.

Wherea are you getting the SMDTGs for $10 a piece? I'm going to stock up on 'em if I get the chance. I haven't had any luck integrating them yet, just because I don't have any barbed fittings, but they're great for almost anything.

Ok. Three sets of SMDTGs would be 6 blasters, not 9. They actually take about 20 pumps. DTGs are only ten shots each, not 20. I am not trying to sound like a jerk, I just had to clear that up

My SMDTG sucks. With PETG and pump plugged mine are going maybe 5 feet more than stock. But don't get the dart tag set either. I would buy a LS. If you are a good modder, do an angel breach. Mine was worth it.

Yeah, both of mine suck too. Maybe some of them are just lemons. I didn't get good ranges stock or modded.

I already have an LS if you had read the first post I said I would integrate whichever one I got into my LS. I'm thinking I might get 1 spiderman set and 1 dtg set.

The key to integrating more than one in a Longshot would be to use a small bike pump which can fill the stock air tanks with one or two pumps. Six shots, two pumps? I think it would be possible. That's my plan for when I get a Longshot. There's certainly enough room in the front of the gun right? The biggest problem I think would be the triggers. You'd have to place the triggers on the outside somehow, and I think you'd have to lengthen the tubing from the air tank/trigger to the barrels in order to do it.

Anyways. SMDTG set will require more modding to make it equal to the sustained fire of a DTG, at least in terms of integrations. You should get one of each though, they're a blast!

Also, I envy you Americans, Nerf guns never go on sale here in Canada.

Stand alone the DTGs are better guns then the sdtgs. 10 shots Vs 3. simple cock and shoot vs pump and awkwardly shoot 3 shots. as for integration, 1 would be a bitch on a LS let alone 2. Good luck. You would deff have to use a different pump for them. But the mounting would be quite cumbersome nothing would line up with the stock LS screws so assembly & disassembly would be a horrible pain. So you'd likely have to duct tape it to the LS.
So unless you grow a couple more arms or have a bunch of guns you want to integrate the SMDTG's into you lose the value if you have 5 guns sitting collecting dust. Sure the mods on it are easy. but you still only get 3 shots.
it takes longer to pump the SMdtg then it does to cock the dtg so the ROF on the DTG just wins all the way around. and built in to a LS that makes for a wicked combo if you do it right. And modding the dtg isn't that hard. you just have to toss some teflon tape around a couple seal points. After doing all that you could still strap a SMDTG to your wrist and use it as a secondary err.. tetrarary.(sp)

Well I just got home from Toys r Us and I picked up 2 spiderman sets. One I'm planning on integrating 1 spiderman blaster into my LS once I get the fittings from McMaster-Carr. Also I might integrate the other spiderman set into my BBBB or my Titan once its minimized and I also have to wait for the mcmaster fittings.

Good choice. You better hope you don't have a crappy made one. My first set was horrible in terms of range, my second was amazing. Let's hope the next three are good!
