After unsuccessfully attempting to integrate a titan into a DTG, I realized that it would have really helped if there were a list of mods that didn't work. This way, people don't make the same mistakes. The sticky could have the original intent of the mod and a description of why it didn't work. People can make suggestions on how to fix the problem or offer an alternative solution to reaching the desired goal. A consistently active member can update the list every time someone posts a failed modification.

It could look something like this:

Airtech 2000
  • Using the transparent tube in the back as an airtank
    Why it failed
  • The tube leaked air
Suggestions
  • Replace transparent tubing with an airtank made of PVC
If you can think of a better format, reply.

This is not a useful idea because botched mods are dependent on the modder, not the gun.

What would be better would be a directory of gun repairs, kind of like the Modifacation Directory.

I.E. go to directory> look for "Airtech 2000"> Click in link>

"Using the transparent tube in the back as an airtank
Why it failed:
The tube leaked air
Suggestions Solutions:
Replace transparent tubing with an airtank made of PVC OR cover up the leak"

Or like NerfMonkey said, just not have one.

It more depends on the modder, or the materials the modder decides to use. I'm sure whoever made that BBB/RF20 combo could to the titan one also.

92% of people make up statistics. If you're one of the 8% who don't, put this in your signature

That's not the case. Some modifications simply need the eyes oy a wider community to come to fruition. I think this is a good idea.

It actually came up pretty recently as an idea. I think it might just be a section in the modifications directory, but search for it and take a look at what they did in their write-up.
