Sorry for bad quality thumbnails, the site only had .Jpg's of it.
Looks neat, I'll have to try and get one when/if they come out.

What the hell is that thing? Does it fire like a hornet, or is it clip-fed? And what really is the Dark Knight Batman blaster?

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

Here are some better pictures.

I believe this was already covered before in the Vulcan thread. I guess this was featured at the toy fair this year. It says it's called the Dark Knight Wayne Tech Tri-fire Blaster.

Here is the link.

Thanks, but Ryan, the pics are'nt working for me. It just has the box with the 'x' in it. Do you own one? Or does anyone know where to find it? I would like to get one maybe.

Now when it says "Tri Fire", I'm assuming it means it has three barrels or shoots three kinds of ammo. And, the thing on the back is a priming handle, but is it a pump or a cocking mechanism? Otherwise looks promising, I want one.

I surfed and found these:

Eight rapid fire shots. Three small (presumabley weaker shots) and two larger (presumabley stronger shots). Slightly unwieldy, but begging to be integrated.

Edit: Oops, Ryan beat me to it.

As far as the handle, pretty sure it's an air pump.

I will definitely buy the first one (or two) I can get my hands on.

Oh yeah, and the site says that it uses "NERF-brand projectiles."

That site lists the gun as a Mattel product. Mattel is not Hasbro, which means the gun isn't Nerf. Or the site is wrong and it is a Hasbro product. But both Mattel and Hasbro have made Batman products in the past. So it's up in the air.

Still, it is a sick looking gun. I'd like one just for the hell of it. And if it turns out to be a decent weapon, awesome.

EDIT:Seeing that open and close set-up reminds me of the way the weapons worked in Mass Effect. When a character grabbed a gun from off his back/hip, parts folded out or extended until the gun was properly proportioned. in their stored configuration, a shotgun, loser rifle, and assault rifle could all fit on your character's back. ANyone else see that similarity?

Who thinks that this gun is air powered? I mean, I think that handle in the back is a pump, like on the BBBB. I think it'll fire somewhat like the blastfire. But honestly, I don't give a crap if it is nerf, or not. As long as it is half decent, I want one of these things!

Judging from the two pictures, it looks as if a bunch of parts are supposed to fold out/expand to make it unnecessarily large. Like an Expand-a-blast on steroids...I don't know what to think about this gun, but it looks interesting.

The pics work perfectly fine for me. It must be something wrong with your computer. They work on the computer at work as well.

No I don't own one, I doubt they are even out yet.

This gun looks sick.

For what it's worth, the pics don't work on my computer either, but they're on the link that you posted and I can see them there.

It looks interesting, but impossible to tell what's really going on or modding potential.

45 dollars! Good god.

I won't be getting one of these anytime soon.

Although it's only $36.99 here.

I say don't buy till it has been around past christmas, or if the price hits $25-$30.

Whichever comes first.

However I may buy it cause I just sued my friend and I have money to burn.

Even at $37 I could buy 4 Big Blasts instead.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

True, but Big Blasts don't have the Batman logo, those funky missiles, an overly complicated unfolding process or the patented "Johnny 5 Extendo-Head Scope" thingy. :D

So your saying we shouldn't go to a war with you? Just to be on the safe side?

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,

But I’m just not the angel you knew.

That site lists the gun as a Mattel product. Mattel is not Hasbro, which means the gun isn't Nerf. Or the site is wrong and it is a Hasbro product.

This site says the blaster is "packed with the power of safe and reusable Nerf-brand projectiles." Whether or not it's correct remains to be seen. But check out the dart tips...they appear to be foam, not rubber.

However I may buy it cause I just sued my friend and I have money to burn.

One of my favorite lines in a while!

And I don't care if they are $36.99. I'm getting one (at that price maybe not two, unless they are phenomenally amazing).

You know guys, granted, it's pretty sick looking, but some parts of it you could easily do without from what I see. It also looks like it's not gonna pack much punch, due to too many moving parts, and gonna be a new kind of hell if you try to modify it. Well, only time will tell, only time will tell....

Toilet paper is for your ass, not your nerf gun.
Try craft foam if you want to add cushioning to the handle.

Kids.

ALWAYS buying things based on how they look, not how they will potentially perform.

Some of you guys seem to have written off the Vulcan already, and the damn thing hasn't even hit shelves yet. How long before you get tired of the Dark Knight Wayne Tech Tri-Fire? (that's a mouthful).

Meh. I just wait til they hit store shelves before I make any judgment calls. I just bought two Recons just LAST MONTH. I'm never in a hurry to be "first". Call me patient.

About the blaster... cute, but I don't fall for gimmicks that easily. We shall see how that thing would work in a "real" Nerf war. I still like our (my son and my) Recons.
