Step 1) Read the Code of Conduct and learn how to make a half-assed post.

Step 2) Learn that E-Tape is used for barrel stability, to help fill in the extra space and to use less glue.

Step 3) Read step two and hope you're doing a barrel mod.



Otherwise, I can't think of many ways to fill in extra space other than tape. Especially if you're asking if there's another way to bond something with out any sort of glue/epoxy/epoxy putty. FBR can be used, but still isn't all that great.

Could you be more specific? A good filler for an empty space would have to fbr or expanding foam.

Try Bondo or Great Stuff Foam.

sorry if i wasnt clear and deaddumpster could u be a little less harsh to nooooobs like me
i was cutting some stuff on my ls and the cuts werent exact so thers a gap between the gun and the mod that i want to fill. is that clear enough

For that, I would try bondo, or that foam stuff, or if you are going for looks and paintability, try amazing plumber's goop. It will work charms on your LS. By the way, if you want to stay here and not get banned by an admin, I would stop using "U" instead of you, as we don't do that here, and start capitalizing after periods and grammar stuff like that.

I would use Bondo. Put it on a little thick and just sand it smooth.

I don't make the rules, I follow and enforce them. I suggest you follow them. NH can be a place for people new to nerf, but not people new to nerf who don't respect the rules set in place. It's not a whole lot of work to use some capitalization and grammar.

Now that Ompa is back, ya'll should shut the hell up and stop doing admin's job.
If he wants to be here, he (or she) will follow the rules. Ompa is the "Introductioner" for a reason.

Also, if you need to fill "dead space" or a gap, try pouring hot glue in it. If it needs to be temporary, try using a piece of wood, or nerf ball, or something creative.

If you are going to use expanding foam sealant you have to be patient and careful. Allow it proper drying times, carve away any excess, and make sure ABSOLUTELY NONE gets in your plunger tube/pump tube/other key exposed components.

EDIT: Epoxy putty is the best choice if you need structural integrity.

I third epoxy putty... I just don't like the stuff because it almost makes me pass out; even in an open-air environment. Can't believe I forgot about epoxy putty. My bad.

I use hot glue because it's what I got.

I do not believe that hot glue is good AT ALL for 'filling' things, but my method is putting FBR in big spots and filling in the little gaps with hot glue, just to make sure everything is secure and to really fill it. And as for little spots, Bondo works.
